I enjoyed it the most but even I will admit Spider-Man 2 was the best one. Less convoluted and the best villain so far in the franchise.

I'd have to say the worst film I've seen in recent memory is the Watchmen. I sold that on eBay as soon as I could get it out of the blu-ray player lol. What a disappointment.

Absolutely. The whole trend towards horror movies without real characters or stories, whose whole selling point is grizzly gruesome deaths baffles (and depresses) me.

It's the collapse of morality and the collapse of civilization will soon follow. Blame secular humanism.

Good point. This thread seems to be a lot of people trying to show how cool they are for hating super popular movies. The question wasn't what movies do you dislike that others like, it was asking why you can't understand that they like them. I mean I don't like Harry Potter, but that's just because I don't like magic. I can understand how others would though. Same with the Watchmen, I've seen that listed quite a bit. I didn't like that movie either, but it was a perfect adaptation of the graphic novel so I can see how fans of the graphic novel would like the movie. So I don't get how people can't understand how others would like them.

Make this the second time... I agree with JasonR, I just hate shawshank. I can't explain why, but I just hate it.

Another movie I don't understand why people like is There will be blood. My personal subtitle this movie is "It will be boring".

Paranormal Activity, as mentioned, was an over hyped mess. Not nearly to the extent as the one mentioned above though.

I can't believe that many people hated District 9. Definitely one of the best of last year.

NAPOLEON DYNAMITE!!!!!!!!!

I forced myself to sit though about 45 mins of it, thinking it was about to get funny, be good. Never happened!! It wasn't worth the $7.50 I paid for it.

District 9 wasn't really a remake, it was originally a short movie made by the same director.
