Apparently tears contain a lot of calories.

The acting looks worse than some Sy-Fy originals.

The film itself looks not too bad actually. The only thing I cringed on was Pinhead. He does looks scary and could pass off as another cenobite but it just isn't Pinhead.

I'll still pick this one up.

Didn't think it was possible for this film series to reach a new low.

So what is the problem you guys have with this?. The acting?, the way it's filmed?, Pinhead?.

This trailer alone kills Hellraiser: Deader.

First thing that hits me is Pinhead's voice. What I heard in this trailer made me cringe. If in the final film they add the "effect" to the voice, as they did with Doug Bradley, I could let that slide. Where's the lightning effect on the puzzle box? Why does it glow sh!t @$$ blue? Why is this movie filmed in a car? Why are the cenobites pissing around in, what looks to be, the houses garage? I mean damn, in the other films these guys make inter dimensional doorways out of walls. Why do I need two Pinheads? I'm guessing that's because new Pinhead is sh!t and needs a slack-@$$ wanabe who goes behind him carrying his big egotistical balls, since he thinks he can fill Doug Bradley's shoes. On that note, when did any of the cenobites need back-up singers? The're bad @$$ enough on their own. Seriously, WTF? It just looks like one big student film project. PASS!!!

Its one thing to milk a franchise thats obviously seen better days. However, this goes beyond milking and has reached the critical-mass stage. The first Hellrasier is a classic. The 2nd one was solid, especially for a sequel. The 3rd and 4th films have some merit but the fat lady was starting to sing. Pretty much anything after #4 was just BAD. Then, they got really stoopid with more and more films that were simply awful.

Now... this? Please let it be.

really? I actually thought Inferno and Hellseeker were solid entries that, while not as good as the first two were better than any of the other sequels. I'll still have to watch this new one coming out but my expectations are extremely low.

You know, honestly the trailer for this made me go from "no way in hell am I watching this" to "I'll put it on my netflix queue"... It can't be any worse than a lot of the direct-to-DVD Z-level trash that I've been watching lately anyway, haha.

I think I might have been alright with this if they had just left Pinhead out of the story all together. I mean, why have ass it without having Doug reprise the roll? Just go in a totally different direction.

Well gee. This is what happens when people go to sequel after sequel hoping the next one won't be as bad as the last.

Here's what Clive Barker had to say about Hellraiser: Revelations.
