1.85:1 to 1.78:1 is not a big deal, but it still bothers me especially if it lacks a director approval. What really gets under my skin is when a studio changes a 2.39:1 or 1.33/37:1 title to 1.78:1. Luckily the worst offender list that I made is rather small at this point.

Plan 9 From Outer Space. The blu-ray's aspect ratio is 1.33.1. From my understanding it was filmed in 1.33.1 but was intended to be shown in 1.85.1

Yeah, after doing some research it appears the OAR should have been 1.85:1. It has been added to the blatant offender list.

No, only things I can find about the aspect ratio is in the following links. However I remember when this got released on DVD there was some uproar that it was not in 1.85.1. Similar complaints can be found in the main thread for the blu-ray on this site. Personally I have only seen it in 1.33.1

Very minor but Happy Feet 2. OAR is 2.39:1 and the blu-ray is 2.35:1. Don't know if it should be added or not but I am leaning towards the latter.

I can't even tell a difference in 2.35:1 and 2.39:1 unless I use a program to measure it so I have decided to omit that AR change from the list.
