I think my order is still says "awaiting stock from supplier", but thought I'd finally do my own comparison against one of the review screens.

You'll have to forgive me as I'm not used to upscaling screens for comparison. Anyway, heres what the PAL DVD of the scene with Data yanking Wesley out of the water looks like (raw png captured via VLC);

The blu and DVD have slightly different framing but I used the water to roughly match it.

My order is the same at the moment. It's my first pre-order as well so it would be nice to get it a few days early.

Nice job on the comparisons, Dark Horizons have posted a little stills gallery, Data looks quite scary now in HD. I'm just glad they didn't make him silver.

Very disappointed with HMV, I have no right to be annoyed seeing as they shouldn't release it before Monday but I had got used to always getting items from them on the Friday/Saturday for release but my order still hasn't changed so no chance of getting it before Monday now.

Not much they can do if their suppliers haven't delivered yet.

Should have just kept my £10 pre-order for the US release, would have had it a week ago

I pre-ordered it from Play yesterday I was so annoyed with HMV and still am.
I was dispatched almsot immediately and so should be here Monday.

I find it hard to believe that this close to the release date that they wouldn't yet have them from the supplier, because everywhere else has them, so there's really not much excuse.

Not sure if it's been mentioned. But Next Level comes with a leaflet for £5 off season 1.

Result! All we need now is another voucher for £50 to bring the first season down to a reasonable price....

Still no sign of life from HMV, bit gutted as it was my first pre-order.

Still no movement so have cancelled it and ordered from Zavvi so I can use up some PayPal, used to use Play.com all the time but my last few orders took 6 days to arrive so won't use them again unless its something I can't find anywhere else.

Cancelled my pre-order with HMV last night and ordered it on play instead and was dispatched first thing this morning.

Contacted HMV about it, gunna see what they say. I'm keeping the order though because if it doesn't get here by release day (which is highly unlikely that it will) I can kick up a fuss and see what compensation they will offer me. if any.. But if you don't ask, you never know

I probably would have been better off with Amazon, as Play.com and Zavvi seem to have a 'we'll post it when we feel like it,' attitude. I ordered X-Men First Class from Play.com though as it was 5.99 and I'm happy to wait a few days for that to turn up.

I was looking forward to watching TNG this weekend and unless HMV's order status is having a winter break, that won't be happening!

Someone on another forum has said that their order with Sainsburys Entertainment was sent yesterday, they might one of a select few who actually have it for the weekend lol
