I bet all the hd-dvd zealots flocked to Netflix when they found out BB aren't carrying HD-DVD at their video stores. *lol* geeee I wonder why HD-DVD is more popular over there.

All that proves is there are no hd dvds worth owning....lol and that people are skeptical about buying into an inferior technology that will be gone in a few years.

This is most likely due to Blockbuster dropping the HD-DVD format more than anything else...all of those users moved to Netflix.

that's b/c they're too cheap to buy HD-DVD

studios would rathr have the populace buy movies rather than rent them. so if they see ppl buy more blu-ray vs ppl rent more HD-DVD, which way would they lean towards.

I think it's in part the revolt of HD-DVD fans against Blockbuster. HD-DVD is available online from Blockbuster, but if you're an HD-DVD zealot, are you really going to continue shopping from a store that dealt that kind of blow against your format?

With Hi-Def being such a small piece of their business, it wouldn't take many HD-DVD zealots to tip the balance.
