Damn, it's been over a year since a posted in my own thread! I guess that I've been pretty content with my setup. Content with everything except my tv and component cabinet, which was beginning to bow.
Cut to last wednesday while at a antique/used furniture store picking up some records, I came across a used, hand build cabinet that perfectly fit my needs. After some light sanding and staining it turned out really nice and only cost $32. So today I finally had the time to set it up and decided to do a complete rewire of the front sound stage and do banana clips all around. And since I was rewiring I figured I'd give "bi-amping" a try since my receiver "supports" it. Not sure that it did anything, but I had the wire to spare so oh well. I'll try to post a pic of the new cabinet to my gallery soon. |

I'm still very happy with my setup and have no desire to uprade. It's a good thing because I sure can't afford to right now.
I did upgrade my phono pre-amp a while back to a Cambridge Audio CP1. It's very nice sounding and didn't break my budget. ![]() |
