It might be because I used PayPal to pay. FNAC has issues re-authorizing foreign credit cards when pre-ordered items are ready to ship, so to avoid cancellations (which have happened in the past), now I just pay via PayPal, even though PayPal builds in currency conversion fees.
Anyway, I've been through all this before, so I'm just happy I got a fair amount back for the cost of shipping, even if it did take over two weeks. |

They appear to have removed the on-site chat with support that I used to use. You now have to go through Facebook Messenger.
Having received my latest 4K steelbook mangled beyond belief, dealing with FNAC on a replacement/refund is an exercise in torture. Even after I uploaded photos showing the damage, they still want me to prepay the return shipping costs (likely in excess of US$40 for tracked shipping) and at some point I might get a "voucher" for the original item and shipping and the return shipping amount. Not even a refund, and replacement isn't an option. Unacceptable. So I'll just do a credit card chargeback and not order from them again. I've canceled all pending orders. Amazon Italy and France are infinitely more customer-friendly when it comes to items damaged in transit. Eff FNAC. |

I was just about to place a new order at fnac.com, but didn't finish, because I noticed a change during checkout.
Usually, they displayed multiple "Colis" indicating when they will ship which items. With bulk pre-orders fnac always shipped items individually as soon as available, which then resulted in according "Colis 1", Colis 2" and so on during checkout and one could clearly see which items they will ship together and when. Now all I got was one estimated shipping date, which simply mirrored the latest release date of all items. So it seems as if they won't ship as soon as available anymore. Which would totally suck and would be a major change for the worse. Can anyone confirm the same when trying to place a new order? They must've changed this only very recently, because it was still as I was used to only a week ago or so. |

Thanks. If they didn't introduce a change only today that has me optimistic. If one can't see anymore what will be shipped together, it'd still be slightly annoying though, because I sometimes tried to avoid them shipping certain items with the same package. But now I can't see that anymore.

If anyone wants to give it a try, here'd be interested. I'll postpone actually placing an order for now. |

I’m in Germany too, and I just checked, and the items will ship individually with pre-orders included. Colis 1 and 2 like you said..

Think I might have to post a screenshot. Will check again later today. EDIT: Just checked again, and nope, what I mean is gone. Can't post a screenshot right now, because I'd have to edit it first. The "Colis" stuff I am missing didn't quite match the current style, i.e. was more "old desktop style", and I guess they dropped that information in favour of mobile now (and how I hate that crap - the new ebay style says hi as well). Here's what I get instead.
I also just added an in-stock item and only then will I get it as well ("Colis 1" and "Colis 2" I mean). With ALL pre-orders (despite months between them) in the same "Colis 1". Which explains it and they changed that. Fook... You should be able to reproduce the below by adding only an October and November pre-order item for example. ![]() Last edited by andreasy969; 08-25-2023 at 03:12 PM. |

Oh, and what I noticed only now, even when I get "Colis 1" (with all pre-order items) and "Colis 2" (with the one in-stock item) both have the same latest release date date. Something is ****ed up with the software if you ask me... (Nevermind the items I am only testing by now...)

For what it's worth... I eventually placed a new order with only pre-order items from October - December and (still) no more "Colis 1", "Colis 2" etc. but only one "Livraison prévue" instead (corresponsing to the latest release date).
I just asked them via chat and have been told that in general they still ship partially at any rate. By now I can also at least see "Livraison prévue entre le 18 Octobre et le 31 Décembre 2023" when I look at the order (intially all I got was the December date - when ordering, in the account after that and in the email). So my best guess is that there's been a change (for the worse) in the order system with pre-orders - you'll see the actual shipping dates/colis only later now. |

Anyone else currently able to login to fnac.com? I just keep getting an "Une erreur est survenue. Veuillez réessayer." error when I enter my email address and F12 resp. Network says they are doing something wrong CORS wise (because I see a "CORS Missing Allow Origin" there) ... And I guess the URL shifting to id.fnac.com is related.

Thx. I also just tried Edge and it works with Edge here as well. But still doesn't with Firefox. So either Firefox or Edge is doing something wrong. I'm sure there was a Firefox update only the other day and my best guess is they introduced an error.
