I enjoyed it quite a bit, it even checks in as my second favourite movie of 2013 behind only Star Trek Into Darkness. Maybe it's because after a long turn at 1 job for me, I'm taking a leap into the unknown in the hopes that it will get a lot better myself. Not to mention I LIKED most of the characters, the movie was both touching and funny for me. Sure it wasn't Wedding Crashers and I bet that's why a lot of people didn't like it but I wasn't expecting that kind of movie. Definitely recommend it to those on the fence about seeing it, I mean Social Network was a movie about how FaceBook came to be, nobody thought that would be good either.

[Show spoiler]Will Ferrel cameo in the mattress store.

I couldn't believe how empty it was, normally when I go see a movie opening weekend showings are packed but the one I went to there were maybe 10 other people in the auditorium.

Yeah there was about 12 people total at my screening and it was already in a small auditorium.

Oh THAT'S why I recognized the
[Show spoiler]dance instructor, it was Jessica Szohr. Guess she's not afraid to show off her naughty bits, granted she was still wearing lingerie.
This is the End will probably be my choice next week as I want to go to the movies but I want to avoid the mad rush to see the new Superman movie.

I wonder if people like you and I going through a job reboot are more inclined to enjoy this film???

Maybe the people that haven't felt the pain of losing everything and to start all over again, in your 30s no less, can't relate to this film?

I think being able to relate to the characters is a big factor in whether or not you can enjoy it but it's definitely not the only one. I'm actually quite thrilled, I've been in the same job industry for almost half my life and it's brought me to the realization that I don't like it and it's time for something new and better. Finally willing to put in the schoolwork and big life changes that it will take to make that happen. This movie is definitely flawed in parts and predictable in others but it still touched me and made me laugh more than I thought it would so I considered it quite good.

Bit late to the party, but I worked at Google when the movie came out and turned my nose up at it. Now that I'm a free man, I watched it for the first time and got some great laughs. Vince and Owen work so well together and the portrayal of tech culture is mostly accurate. Don't expect Mike Judge-level comedic genius, but there's still lots of fun to be had watching Internship. $8 bluray from ebay. Enjoy!
