When it comes to anything blu-ray, I stopped assuming things were done using common sense a long time ago!
Of course my initial reaction was, it was a typo, but just wanted to clarify.

Cliff, any chance we could see the reverse wrap cover art for Halloween II as well?

Apparently, the reverse wrap for "Halloween II" will be unveiled tomorrow.

Cliff, I'm sure this all must be very secretive at this point, but your post on Facebook probably left many of us wondering... Your talk with Coscarelli... So,... any chance of Scream Factory picking up Parts 1, 3 and 4? Hasn't Anchor Bay's deal on those expired now after all? Thanks in advance!

Oh, please say yes!

I will second Prince of Darkness and will add In the Mouth of Madness, another one of Carpenter's mostly forgotten gems.

If they can port over every feature Anchor Bay included, and possibly coax Coscarelli to record a commentary for II, I would shell out some serious coin for a Phantasm Anthology.

He's stated many times that features will not be ported over. They are producing their own stuff.

I've already placed an order for Halloween III, but I'm DEFINITELY going to double dip Halloween II (keeping the Universal release for Terror In The Aisles only).

Going to get Halloween 3, but wont bother with Halloween 2. The TV Cut removed a lot of gore and violence and replaced it with extra dialogue and some ho hum scenes instead. I call that the Care Bear version. If the Theatrical has better A/V then I may consider a double dip.

I thought they were including the tv version as a bonus dvd disc? Unless I'm way off?

The TV Cut will only be available on a DVD disc. The theatrical cut is the same master from the 30th AE with some clean-up (removal of dirt and scratches). Rest assured though, there will be NO DNR.

Oh he'll yes, reverse cover art for HIII is beautiful. And II also. But I don't think I'm goin to double dip on II. I may be persuaded though. Cannot wait for III.
