After I had emailed Champs and Nike about the Son of Mars, I wasn't even gonna bother looking in stores to see if they had any left over. I went to Foot Locker tonight just to look in general and they had one left.

It's interesting to read about your hobby. However back in Dec 2012 a teen was killed for his collection of sneakers in the suburbs of Atlanta. Very sad day when this sort of thing happens.

A guy was killed last week trying to Robb a group of people waiting for the Lebron's. One of the guys waiting in line pull out a gun and killed the robber. I blame this on Nike, if they made more people wouldn't be killing for them.

Did Nike put the gun in the guys hand?

If they made more then people wouldn't be in line trying to get them. I stopped collecting 7 years ago. I found is silly I way paying $100-$300 for a pair of shoes I would not wear.

No Nike didn't put the gun in his hand but if they made more people wouldn't feel like they had to rob and kill for them. Jordan's will sell out no matter if they made 200 or 2000, the people making the money is the resellers. I stop collecting awhile ago too but I will always buy a pair of Jordan's 11 no matter what, greatest shoe of all time.

True. I like buying sneakers and I actually wear mine. I don't look at it as an investment or something so valuable I can't wear them.

It's true the resellers are the ones ruining the sneaker game. They should make more shoes. They could easily see the resale value and realize there is more demand and squash it quickly. I never buy from resellers. If I miss out trying to get them I move on. I'm not feeding that beast.

I really like new balance and these will be my second pair. I already have a pair of 373s in navy. I also like 574s and 1300s maybe I will get some in the future!
