I watch a special series on Fox Soccer here in the U.S. entitled something like "The Greatest" or what not which chronicles the life of all the greats...Pele, Cruyff, etc. and last night (recorded) was George Best.

I bet,it was one hell of a life,obviously cut short for the known reason's.

I was on holiday in California some year's ago and went to a game between San Jose v L.A.
I wore my Utd shirt and spoke to quite a few of the older local's who had watched Best playing for the Earthquakes,it was great to reminisce with them.

Hardly, and I hope to say the same after Sunday...but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Probably just record the Arsenal match and watch it when I've already had a couple glasses of wine, so that a loss isn't too upsetting.

Well, that was harsh sending off. Penalty? Certainly, but was expecting yellow card. Spoilt the game as a spectacle. Hard luck Tob and Penton.

when man.city got the first goal the game was over for us steedeel the ref got it right with the first decision it was a penalty but he could have least give koscielny a yellow card, with kompany i think the ref got it right with his sending off because he had two feet off the ground but we have to move on to our next match against swansea wednesday night in the F.A cup replay

The Arsenal looked very good of what I watched at normal recorded speed….which was the initial part of the match.

After Man City got their first goal, I fast forwarded (x5) the rest of the match.

I hope the Prem has better dog handlers than does some of the security in the Turkish league. The guy in orange vest is pet challenged in regards to his animal-carrying technique, for sure –

If dogs had managed to invade pitch in the Sunderland v Bolton game, I would of give one man of the match.

Usual frustrating season for us

Villa sold their best players without replacing. Fatal mistake in premier league. They look like a doomed team. Mind you, so did my team Sunderland until we started seeing the best of the likes of Adam Johnson. Got no sympathy for Darren Bent, in fact I find his position hilarious.

Got to say though, villa are proud club and deserve better.
