No but I will go back tonight and get it anyway since I'm a huge JCVD fan I was just hoping to find some info on it first. Both releases had a walmart exclusive sticker, as well as the other After Dark Action titles that I really can't remember the names of.

*edit* maybe I am mistaken about them being on Blu, they were in the blu-ray section though. May have thrown me off.

Yeah, you are thinking of Dragon Eyes...part of the After Dark Action series. He's on the cover but he has maybe 10 min of screen time...if that. The movie was ok though. Only a dvd release for the series.

What I find funny is that Sony was one of the main developers of Blu ray, yet half their shit only goes to dvd.

no kidding, and don't even get me started on the stuff they're shuffling off to Twilight time etc. Sony makes EXCELLENT transfers of what they do put out. but due to the earthquakes and some STUPID business decisions they are not putting out ANYTHING on blu that isn't a sure fire hit. short term it's keeping money in their pocket... long term I think it's gonna bite them in the a$$

A fraction of my childhood was devoted to watching Jean-Claude Van Damme films with my older brothers. Films like Double Impact may not be cinematic masterpieces, but they sure are fun. MGM should release these over here!

Yes guys,

Albert Pyun discarded the prequel project ("CYBORGS: RISE OF THE SLINGERS") and just started to revolve around a new script featuring a "Nemesis"-like aspect of the Cyborg World. This sequel/spin-off is set 10 years after the events of CYBORG but will not feature Gibson, the Slingers and the Flesh Pirates.

Prepare yourself to CYBORG NEMESIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Huge JCVD fan but very disappointed in this group. In terms of aging and quality, Hard Target and Lionheart are significantly better.

Fox can only release what they have the rights to.

Those belong to Universal.

I think it's safe to say that all of us Van Damme fans want Hard Target on blu ray. If we can't get a directors cut - which is looking more and more unlikely every decade - I would love to get a making of doc w/all the principals involved detailing how Universal, the film crew, and even Van Damme himself almost sabatoged this movie.

John Woo's Hollywood years would make for a helleva book.
