Yes the Thing does have French on the spine as well as the back.

Picked up the ZODIAC 2-DISC DIRECTOR'S CUT Warner Bros. re-issue at WalMart today for $10.00! What a great deal, especially for being out-of-print for so long.

Anyhoo, no French. It's all English packaging.

The ones I find at Wal-Mart are identical to the U.S. release. No difference to be found.

Since the late 60s I've been a French-friendly and more or less bi-fluent Canuck. But this Sony 4k packaging crosses the line...it's just bilingualism gone berserk. Even a French-only edition would have been preferable.

I treat the language of Quebec with exactly the same amount of respect that they treat the language of Canada.

I had GHOSTBUSTERS pre-ordered from amazon.ca at $10.99 so I'm happy with the price but it wasn't stocked for several weeks. All that frenchiness is probably the reason for the delay.
