Thanks . I'm just really really glad that Nikita didn't ship last week along with Looper.

I'm cautiously optimistic about Dredd. The movie looks a bit too dark and gritty for my taste but I'm willing to give it a shot. Though to be honest, I wouldn't have even considered it if it weren't for the 3D.

I've had these two titles on pre-order for a while now:

They'll be out towards the end of this month. Am hoping there'll be pre-release reviews so I can get an idea of the AV quality. They should be at least equal if not superior to the Kino releases in the US

^ Baraka was very good-looking but I could never sit through it as a whole. Too much screensaver element for me.

I have pre-ordered following items.
However I don't want them so early; so I have clubbed few items in such a way that they will be delivered much later with a future pre-order item.

How did you do that? The 'In Stock' items are delivered ASAP.

At Amazon Uk, I just chose the following delivery option:

Delivery Preference:
Group my items into as few deliveries as possible

If your order is not so heavy or doesn't contain much costly item (not more than 3-4 items); there is a high chance that Amazon UK doesn't deliver items immediately...or over the period of time it happens; but I have followed this practice to save shipping cost. And also if you wanna play trick; just buy a highly priced item with future pre-order item. After sometime, Amazon Uk delivers the available item and later you can cancel pre-order item. (I had to do this just once, when I bought Battlestar Galactica + Baraka. BattleStar Galactica is a heavy boxed item, so Amazon Uk delivered it earlier. But I later found that Baraka has a clubbed edition available with Samsara bluray, so I preferred to buy that and cancelled Baraka.)

Just added these two as well. I'm not sure if I'm gonna go through with them though. Both of them look 'meh' from the trailers. Are they worth getting? I cancelled Denzel Washington's 'Flight'. It's been getting mixed reviews and most people say the movie is downright depressing..the second point made me cancel. Wouldn't want the 'Sucker Punch' scenario happening again. That movie was incredibly depressing, especially the ending.

I have watched them both and felt quite bored watching them.
You can get glued to your seat while watching some 3D scenes of LOP, but Jack Reacher has nothing much to offer.
These are my opinions about these two...maybe you get the same after watching them

Gar...Amazon UK sends me notice that my pre-orders of Black Sunday and Lisa & The Devil are going to be delayed by more than 2 weeks. Counting delays at the customs, I'll probably get them near Feb end

And now Arrow has announced BD releases for Knightriders, Black Sabbath and Foxy Brown. I'm gonna pre-order me these when they come up

Why dont you bite the bullet and buy the kino versions ? Its has got a pretty good transfer. I am not sure Arrow would be able to better that
