I have bought stuff this week, but not had a chance to update on here. I've not had much this week, just a few items. I'll get the pictures up tomorrow and I have a fair bit coming tomorrow and Saturday. I'll also be popping into Fopp again on Monday and get some Shameless titles, which I don't have any of yet

This weeks arrivals:

I've been looking forward to Southern Comfort (which comes in a lovely slipbox) Gate Of Hell and Floating Weeds so much! After watching The Idiot recently, and becoming enraptured all over again by Setsuko Hara's eyes, I felt it was time to upgrade Tokyo Story. Never seen American Nightmare, but I enjoy most of Scorpion's Katarina's Nightmare Theatre line. I wish THWLW was on Blu-ray, such a great film.

Really wish they would release the ET digibook over here without you having to buy that spaceship.

It really is a nice digibook. No ratings logos, no text on the back, just a nice shot of the trees.

Maybe they will. They didn't release the Jaws digibook right away either.

Posted this in the North America thread too, but since more than half of these are UK releases, I thought I should also put it here.

Who else besides me would be excited if they knew that 3 awesome trilogies, a digibook, and 20 steelbooks were in the mail with your name and address on the package?

(technically I already received LOtR but I haven't opened it yet )

Well, as I type this... all of the below is indeed headed my way from various outlets.

I'm reasonably certain that I won't be topping this for quite some time so I decided to have some fun creating this collage of what's in the mail for me.

I found a lead for my camera, so I can finally upload pictures of this weeks arrivals

First up Monday 19th November:

I'm glad I ordered the Scream Trilogy before the price went back up on Play. I already have Scream 4, as I had got that cheap off Amazon a few months ago

No titles on Wednesday, just replacement items, so here's Thursday 22nd Novembers:

I see this is getting a UK release, but I ordered this before I knew, and anyway I couldn't wait

Here's what I received Friday:

Crude is a title I had picked up in Fopp, with the other Dogwoof titles I showed, but it was damaged, so I ordered a replacement from Amazon

I don't have a multi-region player and so put off getting the US Blu-ray steelbook of A Trip To The Moon, although I wish I had bought it now, so I'm making do with the Park Circus DVD

Finally, here's what I received yesterday Friday 24th November:

That is the Passion Of Joan Of Arc steelbook. I have also ordered the regular Blu-ray and DVD, as I keep my steelbooks separate, and I collect MOC titles (I do watch them, and I just don't buy them for the sake of it)

That Battle Of Britain of DVD was something I received for free. I probably won't get round to watching it, but I thought I would show it anyway

I already had the DVD of Battle Royale (never was able to get the tin like I did for Battle Royale 2), but I traded it in. I do have the slipcase and limited edition Blu-ray boxset of Battle Royale, so this is the third Blu-ray copy I own of it

I'm off to Fopp tomorrow evening after I've checked in at my hotel on The Strand, so I will be picking up some Shameless and some more Dogwoof titles, including Being Elmo (if it's still there for a fiver), which wasn't scanned when I bought the other titles. I might even get some other titles, but not sure what yet

Next pictures will be up Tuesday/Wednesday along with what I receive in the post

Ordered a load of new Blu Rays over the last week!!

Picked up Bridget Jone's Diary from Amazon (My first DigiBook) also bit the bullet and ordered Season 1 of Smash on Blu Ray from Amazon France. Cost a little bit more then I would normally pay for a TV Show but so worth it as long as you don't mind the French Menu. Also had to get Arthur Christmas from HMV at the start of the week, so going to be watching this in the next few days!

Also picked up Flight Of The Navigator from Amazon as well, the transfer to Blu Ray does not look that bad (Better than the DVD Copy).

Have been waiting for a good price for the ET Blu Ray and £12.25 for the Steelbook I thought was an amazing deal. The Digital Copy is also an HD version too.

Still got more on the way and can't wait to get my hands on them!! :-)
