No boosted contrast. Slightly different framing too.

The 2D disc in the 3 disc tin should be the same. As for the 3D disc, thats still unknown.

Are we certain their are no forced subtitles which they are keen on in France. If not will go for it.

The only difference in the two transfers is that the US transfer is slightly brighter.

Nope, those screen captures look pretty much frame accurate, the French version has more detail resolution since it's not zoomed and is less burnt-out.

Have gone for the 3D release. No brainer really for an extra 3 Euros for the metal case w/digipack, 3D and booklet.

Thanks to all those providing info on the specs and video quality.

I was talking about the FNAC exclusive release, which is only pickable in FNAC stores

Apollon : FNAC is shipping overseas, but with a terrific packaging. Many people are complaining about that, and it is not easy to deal with their customer service.

Moreover, there's no FNAC exclusive release listed on fnac.com. The same thing occurred with Expendables 2, and it ended to be an instore exclusive.

By the looks of it, the one on Amazon.fr is just missing one booklet. No big deal!

Yeah, can't understand a group buy for a booklet that no one will be able to read.

Merci bidou pour l'info

I haven't dealt with fnac but I've dealt with amazon.fr customer service and no major complaints about them however the packaging was top notch: each steelbook was packed individually in its own carton box. So I guess I'll be ordering it from amazon.fr and forgetting about the booklet
