Tyler Perry & Chris Rock as a lead.

Everybody else mentioned here amazingly has a role or movie I've enjoyed, so I'll give them another chance.

Last movie I enjoyed Chris Rock in was New Jack City, he was the comic relief in an unintentionally funny movie. It really says something when your best movies are 3 animated movies but you've been in over 20 movies total. His stand up is great though & Everybody Hates Chris was a very funny/well written show. Why he make a funny/good movie is beyond me.

Tyler Perry has to have compromising photos of a big shot in Hollywood that keeps his career going. Yes, I know Madea is a cash cow, I'm talking about everything outside of that. Seeing him outside of a dress (Star Trek) really upset me. I mean really, the Mrs stopped me from going on a mini rant at the theater. Not that seeing him in a dress makes me happy, but when I see him in a dress, I know what I'm not going to watch. When I saw the trailer to Alex Cross, I thought "what did Matthew Fox do to deserve this?" I want to see the movie just to see Matt's performance, but I never will.
Has anybody seen TP's (fitting nickname) shows on TBS? TBS can be sued for lying to the public with their "Very Funny" moto when it comes to his shows.

"refuse to watch" is a little strong for me, but I subconsciously try to avoid Will Ferrell, Amanda Bynes, Ricky Gervais and probably a few others, but I can't think of them right now.

What?! I love Juno Temple! Kristen Stewart, you can't dislike her because of her acting in Twilight, watch the Runaways or Adventureland, great movies. Justin Timberlake, yeah, I don't like him...
U hate Will Smith but like K. Stewart?? U must dont care much for acting skills. Got Em!!

Probably the main reason I have had King Kong for such a long time and still haven't watched it.
King Kong is amazing. Jack Black's best role yet but overall great film. Got Em!!

This!

I can't take them in serious roles. The Woman In Black was terrible.
The Woman In Black was actually good. Got Em!!

I have to agree there as well. Not a big fan of his but he was great in A Time to Kill and Lincoln Lawyer was decent. Fool's Gold is a guilty pleasure. I guess he is ok but I hear where u are comin from. Got Em!!

I generally don't hate on any actor. Most of them got there though a lot hard work and skill. Generally, if an actor comes across as bad, I look at the industry and the roles available as more of the problem. Plus the quality of the movie itself. Also, having tried acting a little bit myself, it takes a lot, I mean a lot, of balls to do it. Then once you think you can, there's actually getting roles. All of the actors you hate on in this thread have talent.

I'm a fairly experienced stage actor, and while a lot of what you say is true, a huge amount of getting famous is "who you know." Not always the case, but it's true very often. Connections make up, and exceed, pure talent. So it's quite possible there are undiscovereds that are funnier than those we pay to see. But you are right, these people all have at least some level of talent.

Not so much as "refuse to watch" as "try to avoid"...

Adam Sandler
Shia LeBouf
Rob Schneider

I was also getting really sick of seeing Seth Rogen in every movie too. But he hasn't done much lately, so I'll let it pass.

Tyler Perry and Eddie Redmayne kinda infuriate me. Would love to never see either of them ever again.

I need to add your typical beta indie males like Michael Cera and his cheaper, slightly more masculine lookalike.

I'm also very skeptical of Nicolas Cage movies.

How dare you sir!

Mine's easy. Benicio del Toro is one of the worst actors I have ever seen. Tyler Perry never even crosses my mind because my brain wouldn't even consider watching Madea do anything. God forbid the new Star Trek has both of them in it.

Josh Brolin rubs me the wrong way. No reason. Just does.

Tbh, I don't take them seriously, and he's done some really good stuff... Lord of War, Matchstick Men..

The Wicker Man was 100% hilarity.

I don't like his silly comedies but when he's done something kind of different I think he's been very good. Most notably Stranger Than Fiction and Everything Must Go. An early movie I liked was Dick but it's not "his" movie.

I won't actively seek out movies with Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, and the like though.
Thank you for the spelling correction. Because of that no one knew which actor I was talking about. But now since you were kind enough to show the err in my ways, we all know who I was referring to. You rock

Seeing Jonah Hill in Django Unchained reminded how much I hate Jonah Hill; also Seth Rogen, Michael Cera, Will Farrel, Will Arnett, Jon Heder, and any celebrity associated with scientology.

Somewhere along the way, all these new age actors/actresses became dead to me.
