Get it done Trekkie...NOW! I just bought New Vegas with all the DLC for PC earlier in the week for $20! This will be my 6th time playing through it, first time on PC. One word...Mods!

I read earlier in the week that there is speculation that Bethesda will still show us some teaser at E3. Guess we'll see.

i hope so, there are only a few companies out there that are creating quality games, square enix is another company i try to support, including hitman and tomb raider as two of my favorites this year.

oh, and of course, the 'open world not so open world' Sleeping dogs. surprisingly good stuff.

SOme news. 2015 at earliest.....

Fallout 4 has (apparently) been absent from E3 this year. However, behind closed doors, Bethesda gave details and a 37 second trailer for the upcoming Fallout 4. Pete Hines of Bethesda is keeping tight lipped about the 45 minute presentation, but it seems there was a leaker inside who was willing to give this information.

> Fallout 4 has been in development since January 2011 by a small team, as the majority were working on Skyrim.

> As of February 2013, the team working on Fallout 4 is the size of the team which was working on Skyrim. This is due to Skyrim development ending.

> As it stands now, Fallout 4 will release on Xbox One, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. However, this is still subject to change.

> The actual announcement for Fallout 4 will come BEFORE E3 2014, but will NOT launch in 2014.

> The expected launch is in October 2015.

> The game is (as of June 2013) 55% complete, consequently, voice actors will be hired towards the end of 2014.

> There is no planned multi-player, but there is a possibility of Co-Op locally.

Aside from all the rumours, this is the only confirmed news. It just looks like we have another 2 years before we'll be able to play the game.

Thanks for that...and as sad as I may be...the more they work on this the less bugs we have to deal with...and that in itself is a good thing.

Revisiting my crashing/modded Fallout 3 as I type this, and the patience will always be good for this guy.

Ugh it feels like it is going to be SO LONG before we get some real updates, art and screenshots for this game. I really hope that FO4 is stable like Skyrim. Skyrim never crashed on me a single time (on PC). Plus, it will be nice playing a game which isn't as gimped on PC... well... I hope. If they are making this for the PS3 and X360 too then those will be the lowest common denominators...

Also, Merrick, I don't see you updating the original post. Don't make me start a new "Mega thread" for this myself.

A teaser site registered to ZeniMax Media Inc appears to hint at a potential Fallout reveal on December 11, 2013. But all may not be as it appears.

TheSurvivor2299.com was uncovered by Reddit users, some of whom identified javascript code specifically calling out Fallout, as well as identified the page's morse code as a date. A whois directory search identifies ZeniMax Media -- which owns the Bethesda's developer/publisher divisions -- as the domain owner. Here's where it's worth considering this teaser site with a grain of salt.

ZeniMax registered both Wolfenstein's and The Elder Scrolls' domains through Corporate Domains Inc, while TheSurvivor2299 was registered with GoDaddy.com. Meanwhile, ZeniMax uses its own DNS servers for its registrations (ns1.zenimax.com) while TheSurvior2299 uses a separate, self-branded server: ns1.thesurvivor2299.com. Furthermore, the whois page for TheSurvivor2299 is also missing Corporate Service Company's Corporate Domains Inc promotion introducing ZeniMax's known, legitimate domains.

We'll find out in December whether these minor inconsistencies indicate the site is a spoof, or if it's something ZeniMax is genuinely working on. Bethesda declined to comment on whether or not it owned the web domain.
