I forgot about it for years until seeing this trailer again. Paramount never stated why it was taken out although considering the segment being cool it must have been a good reason. Does any version of the blu ray have this bit of footage in it in the main feature?

Shame. I don't know what warrants the term "deleted scene" because it was definitely in the print shown at my local cinema and the trailer is proof. Why put a clip of something in the trailer if it was deleted?

Loads of trailers have shots not in the actual movie they're advertising. Alien Covenant being a recent example. Trailers are released before the editing on the movie is completed and some moments are shot just for the trailer and nothing more.

A good price for the three remasters... I would have expected them to be a lot more than that... the third film probably devalued the set.

Amazingly, no. Eddie must been over the the shoulders of the producers at all times and ordered the final cut be locked in a safe of his choosing, as soon as production warped.

God 2 looks amazing in 4k, it should be criminal that that first 4k Tony Scott movie isn't on disc but digital only
