Could be... I had not seen this week epi when I posted and that new blue band group seems like they know stuff. I wonder if the flowers are from the flower guy when cole blasted him, maybe the corpse is the flower guy as well.

I don't think it could be any of the characters we know. They are all genetically immune. That's why they survived in the first place.
The new group looks really weird. They better explain them some rather than just have them be a crappy plot device and get rid of them. |

Many immune people are still carriers for a virus and can transport it to others without immunity. That's why it seems odd... for them to willy-nilly send people back in time UNLESS they just don't show us the decontamination sequence before sending Cole back. |

The fact that the future is still the same and that Cole cannot splinter anymore would suggest that Coles future efforts are unsuccessful |

ONLY in the reality moment we are currently watching. The 'true' future is not shown in the show, but instead the various versions of the past/present/future that will change to make the real future. The real future would be a no show since nothing would have happened. OR there are alternate futures and Cole saved a few of them and messed up others.

A proper scientist trying to prevent the plague would also make sure they don't inadvertently spread the plague they are trying to start... worse, the virus carried by Cole might be one of the more mutated versions than the original... and might make the plague in the past much worse if they aren't careful. I just assume they have a decontamination sequence before they send him back... and they just don't show us, just like they never show us Cole using the toilet but he must be doing it. ![]() |

Reminds me of this one from Assassins Creed "Nothing is true, everything is permitted." Which was based from the Alamut ""Nothing is an absolute reality, all is permitted"."Where did yours come from?

Her one-mindedness about her approach, means they don't have any kind of cure. The smart play would have been to immunize all the survivors in the world AND send Cole back with the cure. It would be a paradox, but it still would be smarter than destroying the cure completely. |
