I'm definitely sticking with the 2D version for this movie.
I'm not sure if I should blame it all on 3D, but when I watched it in theater, it was really hard to follow the action. I don't mind some shaky cam.(None of the Bourne movies have bothered me.) But this movie was beyond ridiculous on using them, especially the after funeral scene. I'll give it another chance with 2D, but it ruined the movie for me. I really wanted to smack the director over the head for using it too much. ![]() If there was an award for the most overused and unnecessary use of shaky cam, this movie will get it. I seriously don't remember shaky cam bothering me this much before. I also didn't like it in those "found-footage" movies, but at least there is a reason behind those. This movie was just frustrating. |

If I'm able to, should I blind buy this? I don't do it often. Last time "I did" (it was a gift) was Life of Pi.
I missed it at the theatre. But I'm a "fan" of the X-Men movies except for Origins. >_> And I really liked the score for this! I also got goosebumps from the mid-credits scene. *Cough*YouTube*Cough* ![]() ![]() Would I be safe to or should I rent it first? 0.0 |

That Target Exclusive documentary sounds an awful lot like the documentary that was part of iTunes Extras for the X-Men Origins Wolverine (along with the rest of the X-Men films) that got released when the Wolverine was released in theatres back in June.
Back then, if you bought any of the X-Men films off of iTunes, there was an extra documentary that traced the work of the filmmakers all the way from the original film to the Wolverine, plus a small tease to X-Men Days of Future Past. EDIT: It was only part of iTunes Extras if you bought X-Men Origins Wolverine, not the others. |
