it was just a pre-order to raise $ for the project--thus the "special" gift of the film strips. The actual bd is not out yet.
the pre-order should re-appear right before the disc is coming out I would guess.

I need to change the shipping address on my order for Gulliver's Travels (just the apartment number) but can't work out what email address to contact Steve on - the 'contact' link on the website goes to a different guy. Any help, anyone?

(I've already received the film strip, so I know the order was successful)

I just sent it through paypal to the email listed. You go to paypal and after the first screen where you enter the amount you are sending there is a second page where you put your mailing address (for if the person you are paying is going to send something to you) I filled that out. I also left a comment saying this is for the "Technicolor Dreams and B/W Nightmares Blu-ray pre-order".

Oddly enough the next posts on this thread, unrelated to my query, may have given me the answer by mentioning that the latest preorder has a Paypal address. Retrospective thanks!

OK, thanks. Yeah, it just seemed kind of weird that there is no actual page or link to pre-order, so I wasn't sure if that's how it's supposed to work. I'll get on it!

I had a visit from Steve Stanchfield last night and he showed me his work on Gulliver. It looked good. But I was even more excited to see what he's got in store for the other blu-ray he is working on. He showed me stuff I didn't know existed.

Was on the fence about this one, had no idea it was ending today, so I figured it was good fortune and pre-ordered with a payment.

Although it's not quite the same thing... right after you made your paypal payment (using just their email address), paypal shows you a page that says you've made a payment to Thunderbean animation, and that they're verified. Your transaction details page should say the same. At that point at the very least you know you've sent the payment to the right email address and I'd assume everything is OK.

No you don't get a confirmation e-mail from Thunderbean, but I have pre-ordered LOTS of releases from Steve through the years and have never experienced any problems.

From Steve Stanchfield via the intanibase forums, posted November 24:

It's a scramble here to get (all 4) sets done! Gulliver is almost there, Mid Centrury Modern 2 is assembled and waiting commentary, and Technicolor Dreams is well in progress though some of the films are not cleaned up yet. Doing my best to get them out the door and cover all the replication costs! So far so good... exhausted from the effort but smiling as they're getting there. Gulliver will go to replication first, and let's hope I can get Technicolor done by the 8th... Modern 2 is the easy one in that the disc is all together except for the commentaries... the other title is form the Blue Mouse Studio and has been in progress four years or so. The master is done pending them checking it tomorrow...

Another update from the intanibase forums (Steve responding to a question about whether Gulliver's Travels is shipping yet):

Not yet, but the master is going out at some point this week- hopefully to ship early next week. Late, but it's looking very nice!
