I get that it's stupid for Tyrese to hold out but honestly he's one of my favorite characters/anything about the recent movies. Would hate to see him go. I honestly wouldn't mind him, Ludacris and the hacker girl getting some kind of spinoff ("Hey Miss Parker").

Well, doesn't Vin Diesel hate The Rock as well? Since they are already doing that Hobbs and Shaw spin-off movie, it might be easier to keep all sides happy by having the spin-off movie The Rock can headline, while keeping him out of Fast 9.

I actually think the movies were better before they added The Rock to the cast. I'm just saying that most people have at least heard of The Rock / Dwayne Johnson. Tyrese? Not so much.

I don't care one way or the other. IMO the series ended perfectly with #6. I hate 7 and 8 was "okay".

It's not the Rock's fault that you have no career outside of Fast and Furious. Tyrese needs to shut up and realize his place on the totem pole. And if he makes them choose, I guarantee he'll lose.

Diesel should really just step up at this point. He's the one who enforces the "Fast Family" belief and should make his point clear to Tyrese that he isn't helping.

Really everything's gone downhill since Paul died...

Tyrese isnt even part of the family technically. Brian brought him in for help in Rio. He was in only 1 more Fast movie than The Rock and that wasn't about the family.

I don't hear Lucdacris throwing a temper tantrum.

So the rock should put his career on hold and not accept roles just because Tyrese needs the money so he needs to make a fast film soon? Screw that.

I know! Like, nobody in the history of movies has ever referred to anything as "the new Tyrese Gibson movie".
