Have double-checked Network's website, and they still have Slinger's Day: The Complete Series on there. Revelation Films released Tripper's Day: The Complete Series, but based on the prices on Amazon UK, it's out-of-print.

Default New Network titles

Some new TV on DVD titles have been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website, however it appears they're available now, based on there being no release date on each of the four listing pages:

ABC Collection:

ABC Nights In: And by the way...no raspberries
ABC Nights In: Don't go away...
ABC Nights In: Hello my Daleks
ABC Nights In: Your faces are all blurred.

There is also a fifth volume of ABC Nights In, and all five DVD volumes can be found on Network's website after you do a website search.

The five volumes:

ABC Collection:

ABC Nights In: And by the way...no raspberries
ABC Nights In: Don't go away...
ABC Nights In: Hello, my Daleks
ABC Nights In: Your faces are all blurred
and ABC Nights In: Get a doctor.

Network have currently got a January sale on with selected TV titles on their website. Sadly, the titles I'm interested in aren't in the sale.

I wish Network, or someone, would give us The New Avengers on Blu-ray. Network teased us with it about 89 years ago but nothing since.

Default The Owl Service: The Complete Series

Going to be adding to the list of TV on DVD titles Network have released that I want to get, The Owl Service: The Complete Series. I looked at this series before but forgot about checking it out again. Very recently, I was reading about another older television series, and this led to me checking out The Owl Service again. Sounds interesting (well it does to me) that the majority of it was shot on-location.

Re-discovered recently a sixties sitcom which I'm considering getting the Network DVD release of eventually, George and the Dragon (starring Sid James, Peggy Mount and John Le Mesurier). Never seen it before, but it sounds like it was as good as Bless This House, which started a few years after George and the Dragon ended.

United Kingdom Morecambe & Wise: The Lost Tapes

Read on a Facebook group earlier today (Missing Believed Wiped) about a UK DVD release of Morecambe & Wise: The Lost Tapes. Have checked Amazon UK and it has a UK release date of Monday 6th June, 2022 (title and release date are subject to change).

Below is the Amazon.co.uk listing page link, followed by the front cover artwork:

I assume the Tommy Cooper set basically includes what was in the previous Cooper set plus any new Cooper stuff released since the previous set?

United Kingdom Gerry Anderson titles

A couple of things. Firstly, Network have currently got a sale on on fifty selected TV boxset titles (30% off). Have checked Network's Facebook page, and like on the website section for their sale I can't see when this current sale ends (only one title in the sale I'm interested in, George and the Dragon).

Secondly, two new DVD titles have been added to the Coming Soon section on Network's website (titles and their release dates are subject to change):

Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted - The Extended Director's Cut - Monday 30th January, 2023
Stand by for Action!: Gerry Anderson in Concert - Monday 28th November, 2022.

*****

Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted - The Extended Director's Cut is also being released on Blu-ray by Network on the same date (this will likely have been posted about in the Network Blu-ray thread in the UK & Ireland sub-forum, along with a Blu-ray-only release of Presented in SuperColorisation (which has a UK release date of Monday 12th December, 2022).

Recently, I had seen a pre-order listing on Deep Discount (in the Coming Soon section for US boutique label MPI Home Video) for a DVD-only release of Gerry Anderson: A Life Uncharted (it has a release date of Tuesday 10th January, 2023).

Default Music soundtracks of Gerry Anderson TV series

Cutback, hopefully you'll see this post as I haven't quoted an old post of yours. It's in reply to your post from late last week about the music soundtrack CD albums on sale in last weekend's Network sale, in the Network Blu-ray thread in the UK & Ireland sub-forum. I may have seen some or all of these before on Screen Archives, but when checking the website earlier, I saw that they had some music soundtrack CD albums available there (not a sale on them at the moment (Joe 90 wouldn't be, as that is a forthcoming title) for some Gerry Anderson TV series:

Fireball XL5 (label: Silva Screen)
Joe 90 (label: Silva Screen. Scheduled for release in mid-April)
The Secret Service (label: Silva Screen)
and Stingray (label: Silva Screen).

The above are the ones I could find, as well as two separate CD volume releases of music soundtracks for Thunderbirds Are Go (the revival TV series), also released by Silva Screen.

Quite the cheek making the 45 minute finale exclusive to a nearly £50 box set. Slightly baffling aiming a set at people who would pay that much for Trollied in 2023 but who have not picked up any of the DVD releases in the past 12 years...

Have ordered Stay Lucky and The Chief which were on my wanted list waiting for a sale.

I was at Uni during the filming of The Chief and remember them "blowing up" the arcade by Norwich market. Kept hoping they would film an episode at the Uni (UEA) but they never did. A quality drama though, from memory. Not watched it in a long time. Looking forward to it.

I'm hoping Network do another TV sale around Black Friday time and just before Christmas with titles The Main Chance, The Rivals of Sherlock Holmes and Sergeant Cork included.

The first Danziger Brothers Blu-ray titles (The Cheaters (the cast including John Ireland), The Vise, Mark Saber and Saber of London) will be also available from Amazon UK later this month (can't find them on HMV's website), but based on what one poster said recently in the Network Blu-ray thread here, the best chance of getting the remainder of these series completed on Blu-ray is by buying directly from Network. If these titles eventually are in a sale, it'll be interesting to see if they come close to what Amazon UK have for them on pre-order. I try to support Network directly when I can.

United Kingdom Network sale

Checked the Network website earlier for any possible new additions to the Coming Soon section, and saw that they have a 2 for £10 offer on 150 titles (film and TV titles on DVD).

I couldn't see it stated on Network's website when this offer ends, but having checked their Facebook page, it states the offer ends at 4 pm GMT on Monday 21st November.
