So pleased I ordered this, a superb SB! and what an excellant transfer! always loved Argento movies and even have this on the original UK VHS release that was originally banned under the Video Nasties act.

Just ordered this also direct from Arrow for their current sale price. Excited to get it. I am gonna sale off my old Arrow in the slipbox that was first released.

This is probably my 2nd favorite Argento film after Suspiria.

Am thinking of buying this now but why does Amazon UK say its in DVD format???

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tenebrae-Steelbook-Blu-ray-Anthony-Franciosa/dp/B00HHFF182/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1413575920&sr=1-1&keywords=tenebre

I thought this was a Blu-ray??? Is this steelbook still the definitive version of Tenebre to purchase for now??

It's a dual-format release with a BD and a DVD.

It's the definitive release for now. It uses the Wild Side master but does NOT have forced subs like the French release.

Default One Last Question About This Steelbook

Is the version of "Tenebre" featured in this steelbook edition censored in any way??? Or is the film fully uncensored and uncut???

Just finished watching Arrow's 2nd stab at Tenebrae (steelbook), a huge improvement on their first edition. PQ is nothing short of stunning.

Grabbed it from Rakuten with the £5 off voucher thingy (spend £10 get £5 off - SPEND10) Cost £10.99

Just watched it last night. Absolutely brilliant. I never seen a Giallo before but now I really want to see more. Might have to pick up "Blood and Black Lace" at some point.

So this is better than the Wilde Side release but in what way? Is the picture dramatically better?

Same source for both releases, difference is mostly down to encoding
