Glad they're keeping at it. More interested in The Lost World but it's a long long time since I've seen it.

Did anyone get Futureworld? Interested in reports and I don't have a DVD of it anymore.

Anyone out there got the PHANTOM OF THE OPERA ? The sound on it...can you hear any actual stereo? I read a review of the old MGM DVD which praised the pro logic encoded soundtrack for ambient value and good separation. On playing this I thought it was faulty as it was all mono sounding to me? Have I got a duff disc?

Strange that there haven't been any reviews for their recent releases. I've got Island of Dr. Moreau on its way to me now.

hopefully it's using the same transfer as the Australian release which apparently looks excellent.

Well, just finished watching The Island Of Dr. Moreau and it was a decent effort from 101. Nowt but the film on the disc but I grabbed it off ebay for £8. Nice B flick if your in the mood.

Picked up Island of Dr Moreau in HMV for £6.99. Also had Futureworld for the same but I haven't been able to find out if it's at least on a par with the other versions. Sold my DVD a long time ago but I'd buy it for that price even if it's barely an upgrade.

AWOL and Split Second! This is amazing.

EDIT: I hope they don't use the same transfers as the German releases.

Interesting... basically all titles from Digidreams? I'd almost have to imagine they are using the same prints...

But ugh, out of any Pyun movie, Crazy Six is one of his worst. Love Pyun, but it's almost unwatchable. Everything is shot from the torso up!

Van Damme covers.

It looks like they may be using the US transfer for A.W.O.L as they are using the US title Lionheart.

Would be good if they could use the Universal HD transfer as a basis and then insert the uncut scenes from AWOL.

Yeah that is what the German release did, the added in scenes are very poor quality though. They also added a lot of DNR.

The masters we will be using are from the agent called Moonstone who look after the Imperial catalogue. It's correct that Digi Dreams also bought masters from them but they did work themselves on some of the masters with the approval of producers/directors. There is the situation of having the Digi Dreams masters or the film won't get released at all, we want to get these films released to the mass market even if that upsets a few people.
