Infamous no, more like The Last of US and Uncharted MP. THe Uncharted story is great but the damn enemies are bland as hell the gameplay is boring and i cannot stand climbing being called gameplay.

That being said it was always gonna have to be Uncharted or Last of Us to get me into the P4 or one of the new games that has me interested like the order and that sorcerer game. But i loves me some Uncharted MP one of the best last gen.

Don't get me wrong, I have loved Uncharted but I was hoping ND was working on a brand new IP. I'm just a little burned out on the Uncharted series. I get it. It's become an iconic brand and it will move systems. However like God of War I think this franchise needs to go into moratorium for a while.

I totally agree games need more of a break between them it makes the anticipation for a new one even more exciting. Unfortunaly thats not where gaming is these days. Its all about hitting a winning formula now and running it into the ground.

I hope they keep Nathan Drake around for a loooong time and they easily could if they wanted. There's already something very episodic about the Uncharted games in how each one seems to focus on its own story and characters. YES the familiar faces seem to always come back but it's great at introducing a new villain for each game...keeps it fresh in my opinion.

Like i said 2 years is better than the 1. But the reason we get no new IPs is because idiots buy the same games over and over and its running gaming into the ground.

I would much rather seen Naughty Dog doing a new IP they are one of the top studios out and i would love to see there other ideas.

I've been saying that for a long time but I can only agree to an extent. Do I think games like Uncharted, Gears of War, Bioshock, and Mass Effect have overstayed their welcome?...hell no, they've only been around for one console cycle so it's not crazy to see them again and frankly I welcome them for the most part. If any series is starting to run itself into the ground it's Halo and Call of Duty.

The biggest offender here is Nintendo with the Mario and Zelda games. They clutch to those so tightly it's insane!

Thats all nintendo has though. COD is by far the worst offender its not even close. I give the sports games a pass cause theres not much you can do with them. But COD and Assassins creed, Battlefield is following suit. All those are starting to come out every year. Atleast with halo we get different forms of that universe even though i think there has been one for like past 6 years.

But bottom line is its becoming a all to familiar trend with all companies. Most of the games i really enjoy anymore are new IPs or games that come out less frequent. I cant even stomach to look at COD or Assasins and i used to love them. But every year its a tweak to the perks mess something up that was fine, maybe fix something that needed fix new paint job boom gives me monies morons. Muahahahahahahha. Now give me the price of the game again for maps on your disc we are charging you to unlock and a few more map packs.


Uncharted is not one i throw in this group but even 2 years is more frequent than games used to see sequals is what im getting at.

New IP? Isn't Last of Us a new IP? Why would you quit making Uncharted when it wins GOTY? No one is forcing you to buy it.

This is my point... These franchises are strongly identified with their protagonists. The same is true for Uncharted. Take away Nate, you take away the distinguishing feature of the series. No Nate, no Uncharted.

yes and it was fantastic, i want more companies to make new IPs. Im not bashing Naughty Dog in anyway they are one of the top developers out right now. Im just saying weve had 3 Uncharteds it wouldnt hurt to do another new IP. But im sure they have been pressured by sony to get Uncharted out so one of their actually good exclusives comes out to push units. Cause Killzone is very meh. I wish the Order had made launch i probally would have bought a P4 also but as stands im gonna hold out for something good.

Agreed! Think of how gorgeous an Uncharted game on the PS4 would be. Naughty Dog are well-suited to blow us all away...again!

We are probably a year away from Uncharted 4's release. Three years is more than plenty for me.

Honestly with the MP, I hope they go back to Uncharted 2 style, and not the over-the-top and hard to shoot style of Uncharted 3 MP

I'm probably just biased because Uncharted and Killzone are my favourite franchises so if they were made in a yearly basis I would be one of the "idiots" that buy them
