Someone must have gone crazy mad for no19 for Zavvi to put that message in an email. I only ordered 1.

I think the days are gone where you had a week to order a Disney steel. More like 12 hours these days

Well, that would make sense...but it's Zavvi. Clearly they've demonstrated a liking for doing things the hard way.

Yeah, I've only placed around ten orders with them so far but it does seem they don't have a great system in place. I've had one steel show up dented and one steel not show up at all, and I've barely gotten anywhere with either "case" so far.

From what I've heard, what you're going through is the online equivalent of a root canal.
Hopefully they get you all squared away as painlessly, as possible.

I ordered about 30 steelbooks from Zavvi. Only one came with dents (more bent over than dents... It had major damage all over...). Since Zavvi stopped shipping to Portugal (bad move Zavvi, bad move), I don't know if they kept this good service (at least with me) or if more steelbooks are coming damaged.

Great to see this from Zavvi! Hate missing out on releases for it to then be thrown on the bay for double the price. This may effect group buys however...

What was weird about mine is that the packaging was fine, but when I took it out of the mailer I noticed the scratch/ding on the front, so it had to have happened before it was even shipped. It's the Twelve Monkeys steel, which is all black on the front so while it's not a big scratch, it's a very noticeable one. I'll probably end up keeping it and just asking for a partial refund or something because I think it's OOS now, since I can't find it on the site.

A black sharpie, gently used, is your best friend for that situation. 2 or 3 coats! It will still show up under the light, but won't be as noticeable.
