I think that's going to be in a thrid wave(assuming Universal does a 3rd wave), that would also feature: more Fast/Furious titles, JP 2/3, BttF, The Eagle, Green Zone, Safe House...and possible Jaws.
These seem to be a pretty big hit for Universal, as this 2nd wave probably proves that. So here's to hoping.

Where is Back to the Future? :-(

Also they may finally have found a way to get me to buy Fast & Furious...but I will try to resist. I sure as hell hope they don't do every one of those in this line.

Blues Bros for sure! Glad I didn't buy it on blu yet.

I wish they would do one for At the Worlds End to match the other two for HF and SotD that came out already.

f-yeah. I haven't bought Riddick yet because I know my OCD will melt me down. Please oh please give me a Riddick Steelbook so I can buy it!

I'll be getting 'Jurassic Park', 'Blues Brothers', 'Wanted', and 'King Kong'. I already have the Target steels of the Bourne films, and I like those better than these ones. Same goes for 'Fast and the Furious', which I have the best buy exclusive of. Solid wave though.

Why is there less in this wave than there were in the first?

I've been waiting on these for awhile, I thought they were supposed to have been released last fall. Glad to see at least some are making it out. I was hoping for Back to the Future, so we'll see if it makes the cut.

When was "wave #1" in this line released and where can a person find a complete list of that wave? Are these truly limited or will they be easy post-release? The Blues Brothers one is something I'd like to have.

All should still be readily available at various retailers:

Thanks, I haven't seen any at all locally here in Seattle, perhaps all the stores here are sold out.

I'd say $10- $15 at most. They've been lower in the past. I got the Serenity one around BF for like $6 at WM,

IIRC, WM had them first for $12.96(along with a WB wave, and Paramount Metalpak wave), then Amazon got them for the same price, then BB got them for a little lower...maybe $10-$11.
Hopefully that happens again, as I'd rather buy them off the rack than deal with AmazonUS shipping steelbooks. I love Amazon, but they have not figured out how to ship steelbooks safely...AmazonCA too!

Well exactly on BF they had almost all of them for $3.98 at Walmart. That's when I took advantage and picked up The Mummy, Van Helsing, Paul, Hellboy II, Serenity, Hulk (2003) and Death Proof. I could've picked up Doom but I hated that movie

So hopefully the same thing happens at this years BF sale

So looks like I'll be doing some double dipping pretty soon. I'm in for everything but Blues Brothers and Wanted. I already have steels for F&F and the Bourne movies but come on, I can't resist.

I may grab King Kong. It will be a blind buy since I've never seen the movie. I've been tempted to grab it every now and then when I've seen the standard version on the shelf. I may go for this edition.

That may end up being it for me for this wave. I already have Jurassic Park (bought the trilogy set and have them in individual custom artwork cases, and have since gotten the slips from the individual releases) and I have The Blues Brothers in the Universal 100th anniversary slip. Not that I wouldn't double dip if these steelbooks were REALLY drawing me in, but IMO the artwork style doesn't really fit with either of these movies (nothing against anyone who feels otherwise).

I actually also have yet to see any of the Bourne movies and have at times been tempted to blind buy them. Maybe I'll pick up these editions if I find them on a good sale.

If they do more waves of these, I hope they make one for "The World's End" to go with Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Even though I found the film disappointing compared to the previous two entries, I'd probably buy it again for the sake of consistency since I have the other two in steel book form (as well as Paul, which while not technically part of that 'trilogy,' still kind of fits with them since it stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost).
