With a finished new restoration and documentary, as well as transferring the work print, I highly doubt it'll be cancelled. They have put an insane amount of effort into this

I think you might be right, but in the meantime I don't mind having this nice steelbook.

That steelbook is indeed a nice draw... now I just need a region free player

Yep got my notice email yesterday. Feels like years ago I ordered this. The last of the preorder cheaper prices. Wish that idea would come back.

I ordered the amaray version from arrow on 9 Feb. It has been quite a while indeed. Still, I was very surprised to receive a shipping notice ahead of the actual release date.

As always it looks fantastic, Sin. Thank you for the pics!

I can point to a good many of my BDs that, thanks to you, and Ricster, I probably never would've bought...but the pics were just to enticing!

Maybe, but this release is pretty definitive and mouth-wateringly exciting. Frankly, if anyone really wants this they'll grab it now and not wait until a potential Shout piggyback release, which will probably be typically problematic. Besides, I thought Arrow bankrolled this restoration. Would Shout even use the same master?

Cheers to you mate. I apologise to your family if I've helped you upset them with your spending haha.

A SteelBook with an actual book inside? What is the world coming to? Turtles, all the way down.

Same. Sucks really, seems to be a bit of a lottery whose has been dispatched. Some peoples were dispatched on Monday/Tuesday - in some cases they ordered it that very day and it was dispatched a few hours later. Pretty shoddy prioritising from Arrow considering this one was delayed by about 3 months, and I dunno about you guys but I pre-ordered back in February (the day it was announced in fact)!

I placed my order last night and it shipped this morning. I didn't know everyone was ordering from Arrow, so I took a stab at it. I had a pre-order at Amazon.uk first.
Also ordered Fright Night 1985 and Christine Blu ray's from Amazon.de.

Yep, I have it pre-ordered from the beginning too.

I am glad to hear I'm not the only one, but I agree that the lack of prioritising earlier orders kinda sucks.

Just arrived. Mint

Only disappointment for me is the spine. Such small text and so dark, can't see it unless up close. Will have to position it between two white SBs to be able to know it's there.
