Curious, does anyone here know if the 2017 reissue is the exact same disc/transfer as the 2014 review version? They are going to two very prices on Amazon.

Yes, the disc content is exactly the same. The 2014 release was from Warner Bros when they were handling distribution for Paramount; the 2017 release is from Paramount themselves.

Pretty shitty looking blu ray. Big Mitchum fan but dislike Wayne so regret buying this with the way it looks

Giving this a spin now. Not sure what people’s problem is with this transfer. Even sitting 7’ away from my 32” Samsung LCD, grain is readily apparent. Could the grain field be a bit more resolved? Maybe. But it’s hardly offensive.

Watching this now, disc doesnt hold up very well.
