I remember seeing this in theaters at age 14, and feeling a little conflicted because it both adhered to and diverted from the source in extremes. Interestingly, my uncle's a purist when it comes to comic books, and he's said repeatedly "The Flintstones" is the only film based on one he has no problems with. This is the same guy who finds something to complain about with every other movie or TV show based on a comic, yet for some reason, he's cool with this one. It fries my brain...

On another note, this was probably the first time I ever saw Dann Florek and Halle Berry on-screen.

It's supposed to be around $16.99, according to MovieStop, which takes their preorder price based on what other retailers are offering for it.

Little Rascals just came out last month, and is already $9.99 at BBY. So I would guess a price drop is in order for this around October.

Thats probably the only place that will have it, i didnt see any of the recent universal catalog titles at any store other than Moviestop

It's back to $16.98 now, so as I mentioned, that's probably the current price retailers are selling it for. Soon enough, like Kindergarten Cop, Bring It On, and Little Rascals, it'll make it's way to Best Buy and WM. Definitely before the holiday season.
