According to the listing on the individual discs, The single disc for Exorcist: The Beginning includes the Dominion movie as an alternate cut, so for those wondering why Dominion doesn't have its own individual release, its being included with The Beginning.

Yeah, i didnt figure dominion would get its own disc. Assumed it would be stuck on the beginning disc. Any word on any type of extras for any of the sequels? Im i missing it somewhere? I hope they give us something.

I just hope Dominion is given proper HD treatment, rather than slapped on as a SD afterthought (a la The Big Red One).

It says first time on Blu-ray, and mention it on the cover. I doubt they'd say that if it was just an SD extra

It's pretty remote, I'll grant. But a year ago would I have believed that the blu-ray release of The Big Red One would feature the theatrical cut? I mean, technically the extended version was on the blu-ray...

99% of the time when the phrase "first time on blu-ray" is in a press release they are referring to that particular country/region.

That makes sense considering that they're both essentially the same story told in two very different ways.

I havent seen Part II or Dominion but the set is so cheap I might as well get the whole thing
I really like Part III, I enjoyed the Beginning , heck I even have the Exorcism of Emily Rose

That's a completely different situation in which no HD master existed for the extended version. One does for Dominion. Apples and oranges.

In fairness The Exorcism Of Emily Rose is a pretty darn creepy flick imo.

I can't get over how low the MSRP is, and as a result, the Amazon price. Warner seems to be lowering their MSRP's on these collector's editions/box sets. The Gone with the Wind UCE was also surprisingly low.

I already own the digibook release of THE EXORCIST, and of the sequels I really only care about part III. But based on the price alone, I am very tempted to upgrade all. I can probably even make a decent buck selling off the old DVD box at the annual horror movie festival here in Copenhagen in October (last year, I made close to $1000 selling DVDs from my collection that I had upgraded or planned to upgrade to BD).

I'm just getting The Exorcist III. Wasn't too keen on Exorcist II, and the two prequels were some of the worst films I've ever seen.

It's not, you can see it in the press sheet in the first post that it's $35.99, and Amazon's typical discount is 30% off that. Eventually Amazon will raise the price and just discount it to just 10% off

A 1080P version is available on Vudu . It's a movie from 2005, so something would have to have gone seriously wrong for there not to be an HD/film source lol.
