Everyone that bags on MoS for poor script and are HUGE fans of The Dark Knight trilogy - guess what, they came from the same producers/writers. You never hear anyone bag Nolan, just Goyer, which Goyer helped the Nolans with the script. So they were used again by WB to do something with Superman.

I'm honestly believing that it's not about the script anymore with MoS. It's fan-made argument of how people are believing that Batman is better than Superman and they don't want Superman to succeed. I mean it has to be because this point about the script, Batman fanboys, is getting ridiculous and it doesn't make any sense. It's almost the same argument that people are having about Marvel being better than DC and look what direction they've taken and how DC messed it up. Who cares - really. I for one like super heroes from both camps. And it's a win win for fans that we are getting good movies from both.
So, what you're saying is that because people like something by a writer that they cannot then say they dislike something by a writer since to slate one thing is to slate all things relative to it. Or are you saying that because they made something good once that they simply can't make anything else bad. I just don't understand the argument you're putting across.

The script for Man of Steel is a mess to some people, regardless of The Dark Knight Trilogy or not, it's clunky, overwritten yet underdeveloped and over compensated with it's awkward fractured narrative. Snyder would of had to work with the script though, it's vision and his interpretation of the story he was given, it's a fault on both sides.

Just because Nolan and Goyer or involved doesn't mean it's golden because of there work with Batman, there two polar opposite characters, they won't necessarily be great at adapting both characters.

I've noticed some people just have a hard time accepting how awesome Man Of Steel really is.

In about 5 years time, everyone will be totally past Man of Steel, and will just become another one of those films.

Because they have taste perhaps? Its not bad for the first hour but then deteriorates badly. Id much rather watch Superman 2 (and I dont like superhero films on the whole).

Surprised the Native shot 3D Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole 3D hasn't been seen by members here. Haha but so many Avatar/Cameron fans poke out of the cracks

I'm gonna watch it in 3D, the last 30 or so minutes of Dawn Remake. Recently watched Sucker Punch (interesting concept), watched The Watchmen in 5.1 DTS last nite, haven't watched 300 in years, MoS in 3D I watched a week or 2 ago and it was very entertaining, best Superman movie ever imho. I'll post my list later today I think. All of Zack Snyder's films are worth the time watching imho. I wouldn't mind watching them all in DTS 5.1 in a one day marathon.

If it makes you feel better, I thought The Dark Knight Rises' script was just as bad as Man of Steel's.
