I just did the same. I only ordered season 1, but I've decided to order season 2 now that it has gone down a bit... Hopefully, by the time I get around to watching these, the other seasons will be cheaper.

All previously discounted Trek titles have gone back up to their regular price as expected.

My Season Two arrived with Season One this morning, it came with a slip. A bit bashed but very lovely.

Big price reduction on the seasons 1-7 boxset - now only £163 on Amazon! That's about £23 per season!

What's with these reductions?! I think I'm just hoping they'll see what sales are like when they're sold cheaply to test the waters for DS9 and VOY.
... I'll keep dreaming.

Finally received all my Trek BDs (TNG S1 2 4 5, ENT S1 3 4, TOS S1-3), luckily, apart from 2 seasons, all have slipcases, although most of them have some wear & marks especially around the corners, and because I chose free delivery, along with the very slow delivery speed, amazon cheaped out and sent the BDs in these cheap C3 cardboard wraps in 2 separate deliveries, causing more wear & marks to the slips, I thought over £150 worth of BDs they would just send everything in one box using 1st class or tracked, for better protection to the BDs, next time if ordering so many titles probably better to only put in 1 single order (instead of 3 orders for each series), and paid a little more for 1st class delivery.

TNG S1(as expected it's released 2 years ago and it's now the fixed audio 2nd release so no slip), but weirdly TOS S2 also no slip, I wonder if the £12 selling price for TOS S2 have something to do with it? compared to £17-£18 selling price for every other seasons.

TOS being my least liked series (it was before my time so feels very dated, didn't buy the DVDs but because they remastered them in HD so went for the BDs), normally no slipcase for TOS BDs wouldn't bother me too much (especially TOS S2 only cost £12 compared to £17/£18 for all other series), but now that I do have slipcases for pretty much every other Trek series, it'll look weird and out of place on the shelf, anybody ordered TOS S2 and received slip?

also another point is, nearly all slips are outside of the shrinkwrap, apart from TOS S1, which like TNG S3 I ordered few months back, the slip is sealed inside the shrinkwrap, so it does look like some rare batches does have slips sealed inside the wrap (and they all look factory sealed, not resealed), why can't they just do that for all BDs, the slips get much better protected that way.

The TNG slips, I've found, have always been rather hard to get in mint condition, even if you buy them in-store, it seems they were just never handled all that well to begin with. All mine have a certain level of wear and tear and I bought them all on release, and in-store. So I wouldn't be too concerned, because you're unlikely to find any better unless you hunt down for them.

My TOS S2 didn't have a slipcover either. Wonder if that's why they're £12!

They probably always planned to drop the price of the complete set at least temporarily but the rest of the discounts over the weekend were due to the big Trek Convention in London.

Just for the record but the second printing of TNG S1 with the fixed audio did also have a new slip created for it, they added the starfleet logo to the spine to set it apart from the original faulty set but as you say it was over 2 years ago so not surprising it's now slipless.

Correct, the original S1 slip didn't have the Starfleet delta at the top of the spine. I think I've still got one somewhere as I kept it when I sent the set back to HMV for a refund.

Did any of the slips have the Red Tag slot? I guess the 6 disc sets are too tight for the tags?

The TNG sampler has the cut out for the red tag but none of the season sets.

just got my TOS Seasons 1,2,3 and My TOS S2 didn't have a slipcover either. I do think as well that is why it was £ 12 and for that price I don't really care just happy to have TOS on Blu Ray. TOS S 1,3 do have slipcovers. My Season 5 of TNG also has a slipcover.

Finally received my copy of TNG Season 5 today. Came with a slip but the paint had been scratched off in corners of the case. Still looks good as the damage was not major.

I received my Star Trek TNG Season 4 today - it came with a slip (the slip was not shrinkwrapped, unlike the first three seasons which I got at Amazon.it). Season 5 is on the way, so will see if it follows suit

No damages to the slip either.

It's so stupid that the movie edit releases aren't in there, because otherwise the "complete" set is missing the complete set of extras.

I don't like the fact the movie edit releases leech away the relevant extras from the box sets (I don't buy the "they wouldn't be made otherwise" argument since the box sets get deleted scenes and making ofs anyway), but it's even worse when the UK misses out on them. I mean, they haven't even bothered to put TBOBW in there which was the only one that did get a UK issue.

I'm glad I stuck with the individual releases and imported the US movie discs. It leaves me with a true complete set (well, ignoring those few retailer exclusive download extras...grrr).

I guess they didn't include the movie edits because they realised that if you have the original 2 part version then the movie edit is a waste of disc space - which it is.
Shame about the bonus features exclusive to the movie discs though.
But they did it with dvd and released mutliple Trek boxsets all with at least some bonus features that didn't appear elsewhere.
