I was a tad bit disappointed with this sequel and I really love the first one. Maybe if I give it another shot I may enjoy it more.

That's great to know. I didn't realize they were different DPCIs until WJWS Channel 13:Amity mentioned it. I'm glad they finally segregated the exclusive steel from the standard release.

I got mine on lunch. There were 4 in front, all slashed. I made a mad dash to electronics and found 15 more, slash-free. Got a mint one. It was harder trying to find a non-mashed slip for Sin City 2.

To those only reporting 3 or 4 steels, are you only checking at the front lanes? These are dually located there and electronics. It seems the ones found up front are the ones that are slashed because they more than likely were in boxes opened at the distribution centers to be placed inside the promo boxes for the cardboard shippers being placed up front. I know this was typically a problem with any disc release involving a shipper.
Yeah past few target exclusives have had different DPCI numbers, the only bad thing about that is they no longer go on sale when the standard ones do now.

And thanks I always keep forgetting the P comes before the C lol

You're not alone. I LOVE the first one but the second one did absolutely nothing for me. The only parts I laughed at were the slam poetry scene and the scene where Jenko finds out Schmit banged the captain's daughter. All my friends felt the same way as me. We were all pretty disappointed. I don't blame the directors though as they weren't given enough time to do anything but shoot the script they were given(they usually write all their own movies), which would explain why it just doesn't feel as genuine and clever as the first movie.

I would love to grab this steel, especially with the crap-ton of extras it has, but I can't justify buying this when I'd rather just watch the first one.

Can't believe how good this one looks, kinda puts BB's Sin City steel to shame.

This is already on backorder/sold out online. I hope I have better luck with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Target Exclusive.

Exactly! I feel the exact same way as you. Those 2 scenes were the whole movie for me, in fact the only scenes which I truly LOL'ed. Also
[Show spoiler]the restaurant scene with the captain was great.
Everything else was just lacking and it didn't have the same bite as the original. I also was not digging
[Show spoiler]the whole roommate girl turning out to be the villain
. I know its a comedy and its a bit over the top but I didn't find her believable to turn out to be who she was.

Picked this up before work and gotta say, this is one of the best US steelbook releases we've had all year.

Its glossy, nice inside artwork, decent disc art, great front & back cover, image quality is clear and looks nice, and most importantly, the quality is superb!! THIS is how a steelbook should feel *looking at CA:WS steelbook*

So.....i kinda like this steelbook

I went to Target during my lunch break around 1:45pm and they had about 4 steels in the front by the register. In the Electronics section there were about 12 or so. EVERY ONE HAD A SLASH! I was disappointed. I ended up buying it, but may scope out a couple other Target's to see if I can find one without slashes. Some were less noticeable than others, but it's kinda hard to see through those plastic coffins sometimes. I also bought Sin City ADTKF exclusive along with the Best Buy exclusives for 22JS & Sin City ADTKF. Not sure what all I'm gonna keep yet. I'll be reading reviews for sure.
