Most of this movie is about two goofy buddies talking to the locals trying to find out information about the creature. I think it's awesome. The finale delivers on the bigfoot action you want, but if it doesn't click with you before that then you're going to think it's a waste of time.

Hard one to recommend even though I loved it.

I have never seen this one but am curious about it. I do love a good '70s bigfoot movies (i.e. Legend of Boggy Creek, Sasquatch, the Legend of Bigfoot and Night of the Demon). How does it stack up against those? I should mention I am a Night of the Demon diehard—that is one my favorite horror movies ever. I adore everything about it.

It's definitely more competently made than Night of the Demon but doesn't have any gore or real grindhouse appeal to speak of. It also doesn't have as effective of atmosphere as Night of the Demon gets in that nightmarish flashback sequence or climax. I dunno, I think it's pretty good. I haven't seen any of those others you mentioned.

Anyone who gets this probably won't be be disappointed in the picture quality that's for sure. Very nice. Haven't noticed any compression yet, nice color balance, so far only a very few minor specs in opening section.
