So Man of Steel is in fact being brought out in 3D? Converted of course, but I'm very glad to hear it if it's true, considering Avengers 3D results.

only trolls and haters claim 3D is dead.... anyone who looks at the market objectively sees that 3D is doing very well indeed!

Someone get the figures: I think this project actually BEATS "Michael Bay-produced Birds remake" for the world record of "Mythical dead project that still turns up in the most fanboy lists of upcoming films because they consider themselves smartypants for having read about it at one point".
Is there any...no, really, ANY proof that this project has still existed since the millenium? And if someone at Hasbro had dug the memo out of 90's mothballs, has anyone even uttered its name since Battleship?
Let it go, people--Studios don't have to tell us when they bury their dead, let's learn to bury theirs, too.

(Although we have to admit, those Avatar sequels may be very likely contenders for the record...)

Same here. Last I heard, they were still debating whether or not they were going to. They better do it!!!

Man of Steel isn't confirmed yet, but is highly likely. IMAX.com had it under their upcoming movies list as Man of Steel: An IMAX 3D Experience until Warner supposedly told them to take it down because it hasn't been announced yet.

they should have shot this is 3D if they wanted it to be released in 3D. Converted is not the best sales ticket

I don't think most people care or even know the difference. The Avengers was converted and it did huge business and it looked great. Alice in Wonderland is another example. I think if someone wants to watch a 3D movie, they are going to see regardless.
