Same here. I haven't even attempted the F13 sequels, but technically, these are still two different classes of films (supernatural vs slasher), and I find the former more interesting than the latter (even if they did do a mash-up film).

But the thing here is that for anyone who's ever had a nightmare or even an uncomfortable dream, Nightmare is REALLY scary. Just the idea of your dreams being invaded is very scary to me. Even if it's impossible, it just creeps me out. This isn't to say that I didn't like F13 a great deal, though. But NoES was more unsettling. |
