It's gloss with inside art. No emboss/deboss though.

It's because they want to recoup some of the losses thru sales of this collector item. They know we are a sucker for steelbooks no matter how bad the film.

But...but...it's Terrget!

Cartwheel only has the regular amaray and DVD for its coupon, sorry all! I was disappointed this morning when I got to work. Put out 11 of these and I believe they are all still there, well ten now cus I got one. Huge Mark Wahlberg fan and he did study hard for the role so I wanna see it. Plus employee discount hope you can all get a copy, they don't seem to be moving!

Thankfully I've gotten a bit better at controlling that impulse so I won't be proving them right this time

Yeah, I know. I usually go for most of their steelbooks, but the movie also has to be somewhat good. This particular one does not pass.

I saw 9 of them at my Target. 3 were upfront. 4 had spine slashes. First steelbook this year that they put in plastic coffins too (at my target).

Probably one of my favorite steels - art wise.

Blind bought, so I'm not commenting on the movie itself.

It's sad that this even had to be said.

Thanks for posting those links! Plan on picking up the SteelBook and Paddington.Target always releases quality steels. If I don't like the Gambler, I can always just "gamble" it off

I wish all of my steelberk Terrget excerrsions were like what happened today:

I grabbed mine from what appeared to be 6 minty mint ones at the front. I proceeded to grab a few groceries and made my way back up. All the lines were busy, so I got into the express lane with my 4 items. The woman from the Target Cafe saw me and called for me to come up. So I took all my items up and she rung them all up. I asked if she had the clamshell key and she told me to go back to the express lane and wait for a quick break between transactions to have that cashier open it. I paid with my Shopkick gift card and walked back to the other cashier. She was in the midst of a 19 item scan, and I noticed the register directly behind her had the key just laying on the counter. I asked her politely if I could open it myself as I used to work there. She smiled and said that would be fine. Opened up, lifted it out with ease, and she turned around as I lay the empty plastic shell on the counter. She admired my quickness, to which I smiled and walked away, thanking her as I inspected my flawless steelbook.

It is a cool design. Hoping I like the movie. Can't be any worse than Cowboys and Aliens, right? That currently is the worst from Terrget's exclusive line-up, in my humble opinion.

I'd say Son of Batman, Evil Dead, and Lucy were worse than C&A, but not by much haha

I enjoyed Cowboys and Alien a bit. I will try watching this tonight or tomorrow and will give a verdict.

The movie has had poor word of mouth but the steelbook itself appears to be one of the nicest so far in 2015, in my opinion. Went to two Targets today and there were 7 steelbooks total at the first one at 10AM and about 10 total at the second one at 11:30AM. The Paddington exclusive actually had similar numbers, but I have a feeling will sell out faster since it is a better movie overall, and more family oriented.

I liked Lucy up until the final 15 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the remake of Evil Dead. And Son of Batman isn't spectacular by any means, but I thought it was decent enough.
