Thanks.
With a lot of the older 3D movies, it'll depend on the rights owners for the films, to offer these for restoration or transfer for blu ray 3D. With some of the smaller titles, the odds are against it happening unless a bigger studio buys/licenses the rights and then releases the titles to blu ray 3D. The good news is, a film like APE 3D is being released by March 2017, and that was just as unique as many of the others in the list, like Parasite 3D, which I'd like to see.

Star Chaser 3D
from the 80's, being fully animated, cel shading with impressive 3D, will hopefully see blu ray 3D release in 2017. It takes a lot of notes from Star Wars, so now's a great time to get it released to blu ray 3D. The rights owners have offered the title recently for licensing in theaters, though no word on the situation since 2015 from what I read.

Though Dawn of the Dead is not filmed 3D as in this list, and it's a direct conversion like Jurassic Park 3D and Titanic 3D were, I'm still waiting for word on 1978's Dawn of the Dead 3D. It was shown at the horror conventions this October 2016, but no word since.

Treasure of the Four Crowns 3D

Might as well do mine:

The Glass Web
Second Chance
Son of Sinbad
Sangaree
Money from Home
Flight to Tangier
Cat Women of the Moon
El Corazon y La Espada

(Obviously a "Golden Age" fan.

I wouldn't hold your breath. I believe the rights are owned by the producer, who spent a huge chunk of money converting it to 3D. Because of that, none of the companies are able to make an adequate offer in his eyes to release it without him taking a hit. Not sure it's entirely the conversions fault, it is a famous film that would likely demand top dollar no matter what, but with each year I can't imagine the offers are going to be better, only worse, as the market becomes more niche.

Pretty sure Scream Factory has gone after it only to be rebuffed, I think the only company likely capable of footing the bill would be Arrow. After all, they did pay for the rights to Bride of Re-Animator and Society from Brian Yuzna, which were not cheap. They also released it in 2D in the UK so there's an even greater chance with them. I'd also like to see it in 3D, seems like it could be an interesting conversion.

Thanks. You may be right as why would there be no news or any sign of an announcement on this one yet, considering the October Horror Festival 3D showing in 2016. Hopefully something is in the works, and Richard P. Rubinstein doesn't wait it out too long. If anything, the timing would be welcome for Dawn of the Dead 3D by October 2017 on blu ray 3D.

I have seen this in theaters at the time of its release. The stereo effect was pretty cool, reminded me of an animated View-master reel. The animated work was done in Korea and a computer program that utilized spatial wire framing was used to create the depth effects (some of which smoothly recedes into the background!) and to animate the star ships properly. Considering other Star Wars knock offs at the time this wasn't really that bad story wise. Should be seen on a large screen for best 3-D effect.

Thanks. Are you referring to Star Chaser 3D? If so, I agree, I was able to watch an anaglyph 3D version that looks very impressive in 3D as you described, and the story was heavily influenced by Star Wars.

It's probably a good thing that Charles Band doesn't have the rights to Parasite anymore although I'm not sure where they ended up if anyone else knows.

Found an interview with Band on CraveOnline and here's what he had to say about 3D. Granted, this was about 4 years ago but considering he didn't put out The Creeps in 3D, I'd say he hasn't changed his mind on the format.

One of the VHS titles for sale is Parasite, Demi Moore’s first movie.

It was. I directed that movie. That was her first.

Have you ever done or considered a 3D re-release?

Not really. We have it. We could do that. I was an early 3D guy so I made that, I made a movie called Metalstorm a few years later that Universal distributed. I actually am not a big fan of 3D so that’s really bizarre. I think until we have a technology where you can really just sit in front of an amazing screen and see a 3D picture without the glasses and the wire and all the stuff involved, it’s not really going to be very widely accepted. To do it just for those few aficionados, again it’s very expensive. I’ve made I think four movies in 3D and I’d love to bring them out. They were made well and shot well but most people have no [interest]. The irony today is most people still watch their movies, they go rent it at Redbox or they’ll buy it in a value bin at Walmart. All this technology and all this digital stuff that we’re all excited about, it will eventually be I’m sure the deal, but I still think it’s years away, let alone some 3D thing.

"I actually am not a big fan of 3D so that’s really bizarre."

Absolutely. That's very bizarre. I can understand a cinematic entrepreneur making Parasite and Metalstorm at a time when interest in 3-D was reaching or had reached a fever pitch. But The Creeps was made at a time when nobody but nobody was shooting over-and-under 35mm 3-D. I just naturally assumed that passion for the format was a major motivation for shooting in StereoVision. (I have no idea what Mr. Band's fourth 3-D title might be.)

Thank you, BleedOrange11. I wonder what the title reefers to. If I may be blunt, I'm a little doobie-ous about the subject matter. But I'm sure the target audience gives it high marks, even if it only makes toke-en use of stereoscopic 3-D.

Could not resist a pun barrage!

It's a shame The Creeps was released flat earlier in the year. It's probably the only feature-length native 3-D movie of the 1990s that had even a remote shot at a 3D-Bluray release. I would've bought it without hesitation.

Back in the 90s Band had plans for a trilogy of 3-D films, which he hoped to make in anticipation of HD and 3DTV becoming a reality. The Creeps was the first of these, but presumably with their financial troubles they were unable to go ahead with the others.

I'd like to see a 3D release of "U-2 3-D" shot with something like 15 3D cameras.

Here is a trailer for The Creeps. I didn't know it was a 3D film, thanks for the info above. The director will hopefully reconsider once glasses free 3DTV makes a mainstream debut hopefully in the next 5 or so years. I'm thinking maybe 5 years from now, 2022. (2022. Just typing that reminds me of the old 80's movies/shows that tried to predict the future world of these years.)

O-pun my word! Us 50's-kiddies loved 3-d but it was in the '60s the we started to Rock-and-ROLL!

I should make it clear, I myself do not partake.

Puns, on the other hand, are my special weakness.

I see 1981's The Incredible Shrinking Woman is coming to blu-ray.

I know I read somewhere that that was at one point planned as a 3-D movie, but I haven't been able to trace the source of this. Would've been a lot of fun in 3-D, but I suppose they couldn't have done any forced perspective shots.

That would be something if it was ever filmed in 3D, with the miniature sets.

For what it's worth, R.M. Hayes mentions in his book that production was begun in 3-D, possibly over-and-under StereoVision.

I hesitate to mention this because I cannot absolutely confirm it, but back about 1993, when I bought some field-sequential tapes and equipment from 3-D TV Corp., they offered for sale a kind of compendium or "Whitman's Sampler" of 3-D clips. If I recall correctly, one clip purported to be footage from Shrinking Woman. If I still have the listing somewhere, I will scan it and post it for all of us to wonder about together.

I know that one must often take Mr. Hayes' claims with a grain of salt, and I never saw any of this footage myself. I am sharing this information for entertainment purposes only.
