I wish it was an option. Instead it's Arrow for sales, and pre-orders at Amazon. Which solves the dilemma somewhat, but Arrow must be losing some good coin by not giving both options to begin with. Heck, give it a go Arrow for 6 months and see what the figures come back as...

For me, personally I feel best just to get the payment out of the way so that I don't have to think about it. But yeah, an option would be best so that all sides are happy.

I'm pretty sure Arrow said they'll reissue it in a standard edition at some point. Even if I'm mistaken, it's inevitable. They did it with Dr. Phibes and they're doing it with Nekromantik and Society. I can't see the box set lasting very long so maybe the reissue will come sooner rather than later?

Got my "Videodrome" set ordered along with "The Long Good Friday/ Mona Lisa" set. Now I play (in the case of "Videodrome", the longer) waiting game.

I'd pre-order, but just remember to keep an eye on it if you're not sure, I'd say you're safe, until the weekend before release day, to cancel the order if you're strapped.

If you're going to cancel just before release, you should do it on the Friday because otherwise you get shipping notification on the Saturday.

Hate to give Zavvi free advertisement, but they have this set for preorder at £23.99.
However, you could use Amazon's "tell us about a lower price" feature and hopefully get them to match it. Still £27.99 at Arrow's store.

Got the same error last night trying to submit feedback for a bunch of other stuff that was cheaper on HMV/MovieMail. Guess it's a glitch right now, as they seem to be adjusting loads of prices in bulk?

I avoid Zavvi for everything but exclusives and too good to ignore deals.
