Hit up some DG's this morning.

Found the $6 Silverado and Easy Rider.

Still no Dick Tracy cartoon DVD set, Karate Kid 1 & 2 BD, or Man With No Name Trilogy BD.

Most of the time I hardly ever come across what others are finding at their own DG's. Happy I found what I did today.

Is it a good movie? Of course not. Not in the traditional sense anyway. But it has an innocent charm about it, and despite some dull moments, it's fun overall.

Edit: Yes, I watched the track with Arnie's original voice. He was very hard to understand at times but still preferable to someone else's voice being dubbed in. The dubbed voice actually remains on the original Arnie track for one scene where Hercules is heard on the radio.

I don't know if it's his "best" film but it's certainly my favorite (followed by The Running Man).

Went to an out of the way one because I was in the area.

Finally found Sid and Nancy for $5.

Wasn't it on Siskel & Ebert's ten best of the decade (1980s) despite not being the top film either of them picked in 1986? I distinctly remember that.

Saw this too for $7 or $8, but forgot to get it. D'OH! Too far away for me to go back. Are they even the most current transfers, or older ones? (I know at least Butch has been remastered. Edit: Maybe not?) Plus, I have The Good The Bad and the Ugly already anyway.

I did find the OOP Dick Tracy DVD set. I opened it right away, and Disc 2 was a floater. It looked like it was dragged across the room by a cat's claws. I took it right back and got a refund. I was surprised he actually agreed to it. He did ask me if there was another one, and I said "I wish!" so I think he could see I was being honest and earnest. Oh well, I guess it wasn't meant to be.

I did, however, snag this British TV series on DVD for $7. What can I say? I'm a sucker for anything English.

Edit: If anyone cares, disc 1 and disc 2 are on opposite hubs, and disc 3 is in a paper sleeve.

Nice pickup!

I've stopped purchasing "Used" from DG...the last three discs I tried were completely destroyed. I opened the most recent (Marley & Me?) in front of the cashier, and even they were surprised at the condition.
