Wondering how high it can get, betting if it gets to $650 million+ domestically, it'll finish in the top 3 all-time, behind Titanic and Avatar. James Cameron can breathe a sigh of relief.

Magic Mike's going to end up number one. It's been month since Pitch Perfect, and women are going to come out in droves for it.
Terminator has a shot at finishing behind JW and Inside Out this weekend. fitprod |

I would be stunned if 4 films pulled down that much, especially since 2 are hold-overs, even with a an extra day to pad the weekend. Be quite an achievement though and a slap in the face to all the studio executives who've been complaining that nobody goes to the theatre anymore.

I still think it's MM.
MM may be front loaded when it drops, so it's certainly possible that it doesn't take the 3 day weekend. I think it will take the 5 day weekend easy though. That's the only way I see it losing the 3 day weekend. TG will be lucky to be #3. Last edited by walruswarrior; 06-30-2015 at 01:40 PM. |

I think it's done exceptionally well this summer considering it's going up against Jurassic World and a few other movies that have done all right. Its run will pretty much end once Minions comes out though.
