Unfortunately, as I am in Canada, that leaves me out. vudu doesn't accept credit cards with Canadian addresses (and rightly so since they don't operate here). I'll just have to enjoy the BDs exclusively until Flixster decides to add it to their lineup.

![]() Hope some of Abraham's language is changed to F-bombs. One scene in the finale where he sees a roadblock and I can't exactly remember what it was, but it sounded like it should have been an f-bomb, something like WTF, rather than What the "tits", or some shit like that, they comes out of Abraham's mouth… Motherdick should have been changed to MF and two scenes shot. If this is indeed true, I am glad AMC have done this. With Fear the Walking Dead, I was disappointed as I am positive there should have been an F-bomb in the pilot. In the hospital, with her son, Madison turns her head to a cop and says "Get the… Get out!", the cop looks at Travis, with a slightly shocked look and says "Blah (exact words I can't recall)", Travis retorts, "I'm not as eloquent as she is". I am positive the audio to the scene should have been "Get the f*ck out. Get out!". It is very strange how there is a pause between "Get the" and "Get Out" and with both the cop and Travis with surprised looks (not so much about the language, but the fact that she is willing to tell a cop where to go) and the "not as eloquent" comment leads me to believe they wanted to drop the F-bomb, but AMC said No f*cking way. ![]() Having Travis telling a policeman to "Get the f*ck out" would have made a good claim to her being a bad-ass and set her up as a mother who will fight for her brood, tooth and nail, right from the start. Just having her say "Get the… Get Out" does not have the impact. Another moment, Travis says "Where…is character name" in a heated moment. (Not saying name, for spoilers sake). [Ep5 - Involves Library and army guys in a HumV, for those who know FTWD]. There is enough time in the pause for Travis to say "Where the f*ck is character name" and also, strangely enough from a photography perspective, another soldiers head cuts in front of camera just when the f-bomb could have been said. One last moment, Ep5 again… Travis is pushing his son out of a room with force after an argument with Madison and the remonstrates "Get off me. Get off me. Get… off me". Again, I believe in a moment where the pause exists, Travis' son was actually saying "Get the f*ck off me". Back to TWD. Season 4 BD had the classic last line changed to the F-bomb from the word screw…"They're f*cking with the wrong people" I waited patiently hoping for Season 5 BD to have some F-bombs, to see if they would have shot Abraham saying "Motherf*cker… Motherf*cker" rather than the idiotic sounding "Motherdick!" Was surprised to find the only change was a line from Daryl in Episode 6 (I think). Whatever episode had [Show spoiler] . In the broadcasts, Daryl says "The way it was" at the end of a dialogue with Carol when they are looking at a building window. On the BD, we hear him say "F*ck the way it was", which makes the dialogue make a lot more sense.Bring on a TWD with F-bombs. I can't see why we can't have two different versions, broadcast and unrated BD. Shit, AMC played Breaking Bad and that had a lot of coarse language. Why can't they mimic Breaking Bad and simply have the f-bombs silent… More and more shows have two versions. Meet the Goldbergs, Family Guy etc. Words are bleeped in the former as well as the latter… And with Family Guy, some of the jokes are way more disgusting. I really hope the S6 Limited Edition comes our at the same time as the S6 standard BD release. ![]() |

I think season 6 might have been my last season.
It reminds me of how bad the writers screwed up the ending of Lost. Any time they start destroying the lead character, I loose interest. They should fire the writers. |

I admit that I haven't watched the show from the beginning (actually started with season 5's "Slabtown" and watched up to the mid-season finale at my friend's house, then got caught up between the break), so I don't know if any other seasons were like this actually watching them while airing, but I hope they pick things up with season 7. |

Also, I really don't remember that alternate line Daryl had in 506. I'll have to go back and re-watch it. |

I might be done but not because of the cliffhanger to Season 6. I'm used to cliffhangers back in the day when you couldn't binge watch entire seasons of tv shows. You know, when dinosaurs ruled the earth.
It's more about just how bleak and depressing everything has gotten. Yeah, I know. It's a show about a zombie apocalypse. It's not going to be all sunshine and rainbows. People die. I get it. But, I'm also worn out *by* it. I'll stick around for the Season 7 premiere to see just who got their brains smashed out of their head. Then, I'm done. |

[Show spoiler] Fans complained Season 2 was too slow & then said S3 moved the plot along too fast! Although, second half of S2 has some great episodes (Nebreska, 18 Miles Out and S2 finale. And I think clearly that S3 could have done better. Pales into comparison with S1 (although Darabont had a different take on S2 that might have been way better... Showing a flashback to the fall of Atlanta, how Dale, Andrea and Amy got out of the city when the shit hit the fan. Would have found out how that walker soildier at the end of the pilot came to be in the tank. That's why we have an actor of some note playing the walker soildier... I digress. My point is, along with S3, I felt S6 was a bit disappointing. What happened Scott? While admittedly S6 was entertaining, TWD has lost some of it's cache and cred. Glen's storyline was handled shonkily, using the title credits the way they did. It got very dark, very quickly in Alexandria in episode 9. Didn't realise Alexandria took that long to traverse. They could have at least addressed the kid saying "Mommy" in mid season finale with a few stares from Mom glowering at him to shut-up. To ignore the cliffhanger was poor writing. Made me feel a bit like Kathy Bated in Misery "The car goes over the cliff with the hero in it, but the next show he miraculously jumped out before it went over the cliff. HE NEVER GOT OUT OF THE COCKDOODY CAR!" ![]() S6 appears to be pandering a bit to the LCD. Case in point: Ep1 and the use of B&W/Colour for past/present, respectively, as a tool to tell a non-linear storyline. This was an insult to my intelligence. And I was pissed that I couldn't watch an episode of TWD in full colour. If an audience can't pick up what they we're trying to do within the first 5-10 minutes, then they can watch Talking Dead OR go online and figure it out. I'm positive AMC forced them to do it. On Talking Dead that talked about using Saturation and Desaturation of colour, but it didn't need any of that. In fact, I would have preferred "Then" and "Now". Greg Nicotero was bullshitting us when he said "It is a homage to the comic". It was more an excuse. I'm sure most TWD fans would know WTF a non-linear storyline is. So f@$king frustrating. Really hope the BD release has a full colour season opening on BD. More F-bombs, especially a couple from Abraham... #not my Abraham ![]() And then I hope S7 has a bit more character development and not gimmicky premises. Action is all well and good... But I like serialised drama mixed with action NOT action mixed with some drama |

My guess is the one listed for $59.99 is the lenticular and the $49.99 is the standard release. I was surprised to see they still have seasons 1-5 lenticulars available on their site.

Remember when they used to release the Limited Edition same day as the standard BD/DVD release (Seasons 2-4).
Wish they would do that again... And announce a Season 6 LE for release for August 23, 2016. Any limited edition released after that date is a f*cking cash grab. ![]() |
