Steelbook looks awesome. I have real high hopes for this release as a lot so far in 4K has been a bit hit and miss

Glad to hear you still got your discount after what happened. Mine arrived today from hmv but my card has yet to expire (I got it at £19.99 as well). I must admit I not seen any options to change payment options on hmv other then to cancel the order and replace it. Given what's happened that's what it seems like with HMV so I am going to have to be carful on what I order this year

That is the US release, it is a Best Buy Exclusive.

This is going to be the first real test.... to see if steelbook collectors will buy a steelbook if only the 4k version exist (in the US). Hunstmen had both regular and 4k versions so this is different.

It still comes with the standard bluray in the set, if people haven't yet upgraded to 4K. People could always store or sell the 4K Bluray and put a dvd of the movie in its place if that's what they prefer.

I posted this over in the Best Buy ad thread, but figured asking here was probably more appropriate:

Does anyone know if the Best Buy exclusive Labyrinth SteelBook that comes out tomorrow is only available for a limited time or will I be able to find it months from now?

I'm always unsure if SteelBook releases of catalog titles have the same "once they're gone, they're gone!" availability as new releases, especially with this being a retailer exclusive.

Not sure. All I know is that I ordered one from BB but it doesn't have the usual UHD case but it says 4K Ultra HD in brackets beside it. So not even sure what I'll be getting.

I was excited to get this on 4k...however i dont see any difference in the film where the 4k is beneficial. Looks about the same on the regular ol' blu ray. If you have the blu ray release, i dont see the reason to jump on the 4k edition..unless you just want the case.

I haven't seen it yet, but there is Dolby Atmos to consider.

However, much depends on which UHD TV you have and how it's set up.
