The production value doesn't look quite as good as i was expecting, but I'm still interested in checking it out. They've already started on the second season.

I read the books couple years back. Light summer reading to take your mind of cruel world.
Not as good as GoT or anything by Joe Abercrombie...

It all looks great to me. I've never read the books (or even heard of them), it looks like Game Of Thrones started off an (expensive) trend in TV series.

If you have patience and appreciate really epic fantasy you should read them. Despite some issues it's one of my all time favorites with so many great moments that left me like

Really looking forward to the show after reading the first 3 books years ago. Have any of you bought a BD or BD 4K disc of an Amazon Prime show? Just wondering how the audio compares to it's streaming counterpart?

that looks pretty much perfect to me. all the characters look amazing. and it doesnt seem cheap at all, which is what some people were saying after the teaser.

During the NYCC panel Executive producer/showrunner Rafe Judkins announced that Ceara Coveney will join The Wheel of Time Season 2 as a series regular, portraying fan-favorite character Elayne Trakand...Natasha O’Keeffe (Peaky Blinders, Misfits) and Meera Syal (Broadchurch) will also join the show in undisclosed series-regular roles

Marcus Rutherford as Perrin might be, by first minimal impressions, my favorite casting. I really hope they

Renewed through Season 3.

Goal is to tell the entire saga in 8 seasons. Seems reasonable. Books 6-10 have a lot of static contemplation in them that a TV show just won't spend time on, such as

There will be three episodes this Friday. From then on it will be one episode a week. The finale is on the 24th of December.

So, I'll freely admit to having never read the books (The sheer size of the series is too intimidating for me start) but the trailer certainly did look very interesting. I'll certainly give it a look this weekend.
