It would be an apt conclusion to their character arc: from toilet to carnival to college.

Somehow I don't envision those first three being in consideration. (I suppose Parents is a possibility though, and one I'd welcome.)

Glad these movies are coming to Blu-ray, but I loathe this limited copy shit.

I really... really... REALLY hope that before they take the Gamble and branch off of the mountain of horror films they are sitting on to release any of these they at least release a large quantity of films that more than a few folks are asking about. With that said, Earth Girls are Easy is very possible at some point as it's available currently in Digital HD.

Very cool thread and I remember that Vestron video intro on LD and VHS! I will definitely buy some of these flicks when (if) they release!

No; Scream Factory put out the first two films as a double feature.

Like I said, I wouldn't mind if they included Evil Dead 2 in time for the 30th anniversary. I know, I know, we have a great edition already. But add a new interview with Raimi, deleted scenes, and the original Mono, and you got something.

The awkward part about that, Evil Dead 2 was first released on video by Vestron and about 24-25 years later, it ended up back at the place that bought Artisan which owned the Vestron library.

Ghoulies IV is with Echo Bridge. I feel like if LG had it, Wynorski would update us (as he did with Chopping Mall).

Does BBY charge your card right away or when they ship? I want to go ahead and pre-order since they're only $28 a piece.

With as stingy as Lionsgate has been with their back catalog and given that these will be limited editions with a $39.99 MSRP, I'd really like to see them stay away from titles that already have multiple North American Blu-Ray releases.

Echo Bridge seems deader than a door nail. Their web site no longer works and they stopped posting on their Facebook page two years ago. Have they even had a new release since that time?

EDIT: I guess they have but it seems they've gone underground.

I saw 976-EVIL 2 in the Vestron cover gallery someone posted earlier. I love that movie from when I was a kid and we snuck that rental in with some other stuff my mom was renting (somehow). Surely I can't be the only one who wants this (and the original). Anyone? Anyone? Are they with Lionsgate?

The original is not, however 976-Evil 2 is with Lionsgate and seems very plausible. Lionsgate released an 8 film and a 6 film horror collection on DVD years ago that could provide hints as to what's planned.

-Waxwork
-The Unholy
-Ghoulies III
-976-Evil II
-Class of 1999
-Slaughter High
-C.H.U.D. II
-Chopping Mall

these were on one collection...

-Blood Diner
-Parents
-Earth Girls are Easy
-Sundown
-Fido
-Boy Eat's Girl

Were on the other release...

I also feel that if this line is successful a Wishmaster collection similar to what we got with Leprechaun seems very possible. I'm really curious about Beyond Re-animator and Return of the Living Dead 3 though... my hunch says Arrow has them and will release them next year as dual territory releases, but it's possible they still reside with Lionsgate and could also be future titles.

Never heard of Blood Diner, but the trailer looks promising:
