Not all movies require Atmos.

Not at all, but without even that there is no incentive for me to pay 27 euros + shipping for this film.

For all of Amazon Prime members, this is available actually in their UHD category. You can actually see this in 4k without any charges right now on Amazon. Make sure you go to their UHD category because this is also available in 1080P. It is quite a treat.

My copy shipped on the 10th. Still awaiting delivery. Did anyone else's copy ship? I also didn't receive a tracking number.

This looks terrific on amazon in UHD, even without hdr. Only watched 20 minutes but the neon and vibrancy was beautiful.

If you live outside of Germany you won't get a tracking number. My usual time is about 2 to 3 weeks.

Yes. It'll have a higher bitrate and it's also shot in 4k and the final master was 4k. Even on amazon the clarity was very impressive.

I just watched this. Some really good looking scenes. More than the sharpness, it's the colors. Decent release but not demo material. Too bad there wasn't english subtitles.

I just got this today and played the Blu Ray and the 4K UHD at the same time, switching back and forth between my HDMI inputs on my 55" LG 4K OLED. Honestly not a huge difference between the two discs. I guess the 4K was a little bit more sharp and the contrast and colors sllghtly better. Honestly though, I wasn't always sure which one I was looking at.

Either way, the image did look very strong, especially the colors, and very close to what I remember seeing in the theatre over the summer.

One thing I was surprised by was that it had the same features as the US disc. I thought Germany was getting a different commentary with Refn and the editor?

Wish it has a more clear picture. For me it looks near the same as the blu ray.
Seeing everest for example, it is a complete other thing.
Wouldnt buy the UHD again.
