This. If Arrow took payment on shipping I'd order everything through them. But they don't, so I don't.

The Amazon price is just a placeholder. It will drop. Order now at the daft price for free shipping

It will drop though on Amazon, won't it? It's like 15€ cheaper for me on Arrow's site right now, but I can't afford paying right away. Even shipping's cheaper on their site.

Whenever I've ordered directly from Arrow because they were initially cheaper, Amazon have dropped their price lower during the pre-order period.

All of this talk of immediate Paypal payments, shipping charges and whatnot furthers frustrates me that Zavvi hasn't posted pre-orders for this and The Guyver.

Even if I receive my copies a bit banged up from them, i'll be saving a lot for shipping charges and the money won't be taken out of the bank until it ships. No stupid holding charges or anything else of that sort.

Since I absolutely do not see Fox putting out the 4K remasters of both cuts out here in the states, this is the perfect release to invest in a region free player.

amazon.co.uk has all the december movies now for preorder. I feel its easier to do that so I won't get charged until they shipped

Order now to secure it, this one's going to sell!

I'd order more from Arrow if they charged on shipping. I mentioned this in the human condition thread, but I ordered that from amazon on 4th March, and still don't have it because of Arrow delays. If you'd ordered direct you'd have paid 6 months ago and be out of paypal's buyer protection period before it even shipped. Not to mention it's going to be a tenner cheaper from amazon.
Arrow make it very hard to support them directly, points or no points.

This release is the first time I've bought directly from the Arrow store. I was only charged 3.50 or so for some taxes/shipping fee. To the US this seems pretty low. Do they do the same shipping methods as Zavvi does with their super cheap shipping option, or will I be expected to pay for shipping before it actually ships out?

You won't pay any more than what you already have. The thing lots of people don't like is that your card will have been charged straight away.

Ah, yeah If I buy something I prefer to pay when I commit to it.

I think the packaging on this is going to be the same as the Videodrome box. Would of preferred it to be like the giallo box sets (2 amarays and a book) as I always like to use the original art on the sleeves and hate digipaks. Oh well, first world problems I guess.
